While I agree that the current prospects list is not as exciting as the last one, I'm hopeful because Getz has addressed many of the front office issues ignored by Williams and Hahn. It seems he understood that the White Sox as an organization was way behind the curve and addressed those things first. I'm actually not surprised that attendance is a little better because I think this team is easier to like and root for than last years. I find myself watching more games this year for that reason and I'd definetly attend some games if I lived in Chicago. I'm thinking of going to Citi-Field to see them play the Mets at the end of May. Probably a bad idea, but what the hell!

Is it just me or did our 2nd baseman and shortstop look like they knew what they were doing in the 1st inning?

Living in New York City and Western Massachusetts, I think it’s interesting that this story is not being covered. The Boston Globe every Sunday has a full page dedicated to baseball news. While much of the stories are about the Red Sox, they also cover all of MLB and they’ve had nothing for the last three weeks. Obviously with a suspension the story will be covered but so far not a word.

What are the guesses for the Twins and Guardians?

I love this team but only the White Sox would have 3 logos on 1 uniform.

Every time I read a discussion regarding sports team ownership, I think of the Green Bay Packers and think/wish that all pro sports teams should be set up the same way. It's such a unique and really cool way for a team to function.

Along with Merry Christmas, I want to say thank you to all of you, whoever you are, for making and keeping this site vital and engaging. As an out of town member who doesn’t post very often but reads here constantly, this site has been so important to me since joining in the off season before the glorious year of 2005. Everyone stay safe, be smart and let’s win the Series next year, because I truly think we can.

I would force them to return the World Series trophy. It’s a cosmetic gesture but many teams display their trophies in the park for fans to see when they come to a game. The Astros should not have that privilege.
