Imagine this lineup: Pods Ramirez Dye Thome Konerko Quentin A.J. Beckham Getz There are very few lineups in baseball that would be better than that with a (hopefully) healthy Carlos Quentin.

Definitely trade Dotel and Jenks. Keep Dye. Contreras and Thome would bring nothing. Maybe they could get Swisher back. Half-joking. I know they don't want him but they sure need him.

Poreda is not ready this year. He'll probably start out in the pen next year so the Sox don't need to worry about a 4 lefty rotation just yet.

There are only 2 teams with enough pitching to win the A.L. Central - the White Sox and the Twins. The Tigers probably have the worst pitching in the entire American League. Cleveland and K.C. are awful 3-5. The White Sox will win the division.

1. I don't believe that there is any chance that Viciedo makes the team. The Sox are not going to let him sit on the bench and he's not ready to be an everyday player at any position. 2. Lillibridge will almost surely be the backup SS unless he can't hit at all. 3. Betemit makes the team as the primary backup at 3b and 1b. 4. I love Beckham and think he'll be great but there's no way that he makes the team. He needs more time. 5. Getz and Nix? We'll see. My guess is that Getz ends up starting at 2B and Nix goes to AAA unless he really impresses.

Better than looking older than his given age.

Chris Coste. I completely agree. I was hoping the Sox would get him when they signed Toby Hall. Coste would be perfect for the Sox. And, he'd come as cheap as anyone.

Unless somebody stuns Kenny with decent offers for Konerko and/or Thome the payroll has to be atleast $ 100 mil.

I've been following Kenny for a ling time. He'll go to camp with 1 starter spot open but not 2. No way no how.

There's no way that I believe that Kenny could not have gotten 1 good player back for Swisher from any team. Not one team would offer a solid regular thirdbaseman, secondbaseman, starting picther, relief pitcher, outfielder or B prospect? I don't believe it. The Yankees wouldn't have offered Ian Kennedy straight up for him? Or any of their top 10 prospects? I don't believe it. And, and, and the Sox throw in a solid pitching prospect, too? I'm sorry but I think this trade will go down with the Todd Ritchie trade. I know that Kenny has proven himself to be an excellent GM to me and I want to give every deal the benefit of the doubt. But, I can't with this one. There's no way that Swisher is going to suck for the rest of his career. And, more importantly, other teams such as the Yankees don't believe that. He had to be worth something and he gave him away for nothing. I'll go on record right now as saying that none of these 3 players will amount to anything for the White Sox - next year or ever. Unbelievable. If I'm wrong on this one then Kenny is a magician and I'll never question him again. But, I still say this is Todd Ritchie part 2.

Luis Castillo and Willy Taveras.

No way do I want Griffey back. He looked awful last year and he'll only be worse next year. He hasn't been good for about 5 years. I wouldn't want him if he played for free. I'd rather have Dewayne Wise.

Lee is obvious. Quentin WAS obvious but he's out now. Now, it should be Mauer or Pedroia. ROY ? Why isn't it Galarraga ?

Did anyone ever notice how "the s***heads" in Minnesota as Buehlre calls them or "the pirranhas" as Ozzie calls them are so unlikeable ? And, Torii Hunter is a douchebag ? And, A.J. is a jerk ? Maybe, the White Sox could use some more former Twins on the team ?

Trying to project the Sox team 2 years from now is a waste of time. Before 2008 did you know that Carlos Qentin would be one of the best players in baseball? Did you know that Alexei Ramirez would be as good as any rookie? Did you know that Gavin Floyd would win 16-17 games? Kenny Williams has proven that he can add impact players quickly. This team could win the WS in 2010 so relax.

Because a lot of GM's listen to Hawk's broadcast so they know which players to trade for.

I don't think the Sox have any surplus of anything to trade anywhere in their organization. I would like to see them try to sign Hudson. Keep Ramirez at SS, and Uribe and Getz as utility. The problem is 3B. Fields defense and offense are questionable at this point. I can't really see re-signing Crede. The OF is fine as is. Q, Dye, Anderson, Wise and Swisher OF/1B. Konerko and Thome will return. Needs will be 2B, 3B and 5th starter. That's not bad. They could address all 3 thru free agency. If they do, they could begin to build themselves some nice depth thruout the minor leagues. And, for once, the bullpen will not need re-tooling !!!!!!!!!

I thought Omogrosso did well as a starter. I'm surprised that he's not in the rotation.

One can only hope that he's ouot for the season.

Now, there's only 2 guys that the Sox should never give the ball to: the M & M boys. Both should be released.
