  1. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 05:30 PM) We could play our "scrubs" and still win I know Felix is a stud but that sig is still an embarrassment. Just to let you know.
  2. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:52 PM) hmm, my boss wont give me the day off. do i just skip work and hope i don't get canned? Duh.
  3. I'll add another one: how about Juan's defensive gem in detroit the night frank hit an extra inning homer to win it. I'll add more once I'm done with dinner.
  4. QUOTE(Nokona @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) Rowand catching the ball in LF when Pods lost it. That's one of my favorite plays of the year as well, kind of symbolized what this team was all about. Game number 2 on the year was a pretty special game as well.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:50 PM) And there were a lot of people on here who were screaming that it would be the wrong decision to have Pods in CF. The stability that this team had almost all season on the field is remarkable, with only the Frank injury changing the dynamic for more than 15 or so games. No doubt, most of us wanted Aaron to stay in center and thankfully it happened. I was just thinking about that though, what if Scott was the centerfielder all year...eek.
  6. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) And if he couldn't kill you, he'd try to eat you. And your children.
  7. Not an underrated play but just something that seemed so little in spring training: how about Aaron being in center when it was talked about that Scotty would be the centerfielder when he was first traded here. I was just thinking about that, how something seemingly so small could have made a huge difference.
  8. Maybe I got the ball.
  9. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 01:27 PM) *sigh* Can we PLEASE stop talking about this? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  10. I'll be there. Missing like my 6th full day of class cause of the sox but oh f***in well. Can't wait.
  11. Joe Sheehan is a f***in idiot. Always has been and always will be, that is all.

Ok, I'm coming in from school on the amtrak to union station tomorrow at 9 am. Does anyone know what would be the best way to get to the parade from there??
  13. QUOTE(hi8is @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 12:35 PM) did it for the first time last year, and will do it again this year! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  14. QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 01:40 AM) Yeah, somewhere along the lines SnB was lost. Though I see he has posted since then so is still alive. And I think he has pictures of our recreation of the locker room celebration to be posted here later. Complete with 12 bottles of champagne. I saw them already, shoulda tore krush's apartment apart.
  15. QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 01:35 AM) So me and Krush were out enjoying ourselves at a local Champaign bar and some Cub fan decided to call the 2 of us bandwagon jumpers. He picked the wrong 2 guys to say that to. After going off on him about all the Sox knowledge we possessed, we ripped into him good. When we questioned him about his Cub fan-ness by asking him who the Cubs bullpen guys were, he answered "Kyle Fanrsworth and Joe somebody." So we had a good laugh about that. Also, Krush sprained his ankle in the celebraton and when we stormed the alma mater, I swear there was a rally crede chant. It quickly turned into "crede crede" but it was definitely a rally crede chant for awhile. Me, Krush and AddisonSt were all there for that one. To sum the night up, this is the best night of my life and my bank account will begin to be emptied on champ merchandise tomorrow. Also, I reek of champagne from our victory celebration. GO GO WHITE SOX You guys kill snb in the process or something? Sounds like a good time.
  16. This picture nearly had me break down and cry.
  17. It won't sink in until I hear Gene on opening day say "Sox fans on your feet for your world champion chicago white sox."
  18. I wish they'd announce these things so I can make plans. Yeesh, why don't these people think of rowand44.
  19. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 11:49 PM) Depends if Konerko re-signs and they want to keep Dye in the #3 hole. On the basis on what Dye did in the post-season, it'd be hard to move him from there. Most likely the #5 hole will be the incoming FA as the DH, although if Frank returns and they want him to hit in the 3 hole, then Dye would prob move back down to 5. ??? A post about a 3 hitter and no mention of Chad Tracey?
  20. Congrats Jerry.
  21. Anyone else gonna be the rally crede for halloween?
  22. Kenny is a god. Love that guy.
  23. HE.IS.AWESOME.
  24. I just screamed at the top of my lungs, punched a brick wall in excitement which probably wasn't the smartest thing, then just fell to the ground and almost started crying, I didn't though, held it in.
