  1. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 07:05 PM) Byrnes slides into 1st w/ a 4 run lead Why not?
  2. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:59 PM) this is ridiculous, why can we not beat the f***ing A's, they have no big name players except for kendall chavez and zito, this is f***ing bulls***, i cant watch this anymore but im yet im still going to watch this turn into an even bigger disaster Having the most big name players wins you champinonships.
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:57 PM) Another mothercuking pop-up. f*** you Widge! Eveyone who gets an out from now on gets a nice f*** You! Right back at ya. :finger
  4. Time for Jenks to get some more work.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:49 PM) Cordero, Carrasco, Eischen, Ayala, and Majewski is pretty damn good, especially since they probably all make around the minimum. Talking about the A's not the Nats.
  6. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) They have a good bullpen. They had their chance with the 4 and 5 hitters and couldn't get the run home. Konerko should not be batting clean up. His average with RISP is horrible. They have 2 studs in their bullpen but after that it ain't very good, I wouldn't call it a good bullpen.
  7. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:43 PM) PK = 19 meaningless HR's, Aaron = Mr. Juicey-K Oye ve. One guy claims aaron is juicing, now everyone believes it. This is no shot at you fathom but just because he said that doesn't mean aaron was a roid user.
  8. I honestly can't stand that guy anymore.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:38 PM) Wow, great time for the double steal. Avoids any chance of a triple play on a grounder by Frank.....jk. Beautiful Frank, f***in beautiful. Get him in Pauly.
  10. Double steal, I f***IN LOVE IT.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) Big improvement from earlier in this year, where Iguchi looked awful against Zito. Makes perfect sense though, he got to see him. Ok, for those of you who think scotty doesn't mess with pitchers heads, you guys are crazy. That's directed at one person in particular.
  12. I think Zito's a bit worried about scotty.
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:34 PM) Cubs player Adam Greenberg got hit in the head during his first career MLB AB. Ouch.
  14. Time to raise some hell scotty.
  15. That a boy scotty, stays right with the curve and knocks it back through the middle.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 9, 2005 -> 06:31 PM) Well, when you have one hit through 5 innings, you better do something different. We're not even coming close to putting together a rally. The rally comes this inning.
  17. Mark pitches around Kielty.
  18. Wow, fantastic play by Mark.
  19. qwerty, I'm directing this at you since you seem to know where to get every stat imaginable?? Wanna look for a stat for how many times teams have been shut out this season?? I'm interested to see where the Sox rank on that because I'd bet it'd be pretty good. If my memory is correct the sox have been shut out twice this season and I know the Cards have been shut out 5 times this season.
