Tony Stewart purposefully ran someone over?
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 11, 2014 -> 02:45 PM) From what I see in that video, the truth could literally be anything from a complete accident to completely on purpose. That video shows so little. Completely agree.

QUOTE (Timmy U @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 09:54 PM) We drafted him in the same draft like three picks before Trout. I think we made a mistake. Do you disagree? Ya, Mitchell is a much better player than this Trout guy.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 04:10 PM) I shot 79 today...best scoring round in many years...the sad thing is I parred the front 9 and then limped home with a 43 on the back... I could legit shoot 79 on like 7 holes.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) Thanks. I'm gonna try and check out some of the AJ Styles stuff. Heard he's the star over there now. I can see it if only because there's going to be a ton of match side hijinks with trips, nikki and Bryan(?). To me the bigger disaster is Roman Reigns getting 20 minutes. And the biggest disaster is making Rollins vs Ambrose a lumber jack match. Seriously, wtf? Has there ever been a good lumberjack match? It doesn't fit their styles at all either. This should have been a legit moty candidate but I'm afraid they might have ruined it already. We'll see though. We'll see how Reigns does, they have to let him go at some point and stop hiding him if he's their guy. I do agree about Rollins and Ambrose though, made 0 sense for Dean's character to pick a lumberjack match. Oh well, those two are so damn good that I'm sure they'll deliver something awesome.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 11:57 AM) http://www.boxoffice.com/latest-news/2014-...torm-takes-800k Never in a million years expected Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to perform so well. Megan Fox power? Of course, she was famously dumped by Michael Bay for the 3rd Transformers movie (and it's ironic she's in another completely "non-intellectual" Bay movie again). People just love the Ninja Turtles.

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 07:30 AM) I used to watch it when I was younger but there are so many errors and wild pitches that score runs that I find it more sloppy. They also need to move the fences back. I loved watching it when I was a kid, I just can't get into it now for whatever reason.

Likely to replace Alexei Ramirez's first deal, Chris Sale/Jose Quintana or Steve Trout's first 3 years as the friendliest contract in MLB. The last three years of Mike Trout's new deal, $100 million, or $33.33 million per season. Steve Trout is a baller.

Tony Stewart purposefully ran someone over?
QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 07:19 AM) Why the hell does the guy get out of his car and confront someone in a race car on a dirt track? This. QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 10, 2014 -> 07:29 AM) How can you tell it was on purpose? I finally brought myself to watch the video and can't tell if there is intent or not. The kid is walking in the middle of a car race. WTF. And this. No clue if it's on purpose or not.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 8, 2014 -> 10:01 AM) I totally disagree and want Rose to play every single game he can before the season. If he's going to get hurt he's going to get hurt, limiting his minutes or time on the court just isn't going to prevent it. We've already seen that, a year and a half off and he lasted 10 games. When the regular season rolls around you can't bench him until the playoffs to protect his health. Best we can do is have him get himself 100% ready to go and be ready for game speed by the first game of the season. If he gets hurt, he gets hurt. Yup.

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 08:27 PM) I must have missed the conference call where everyone decided that Kevin Love is injury prone. Yes, he missed a ton of games in 12/13 with the broken hand. Other than that, he's played 77, 55 (lockout year), 73, 60 and 81. Even with the lockout subtracting 16 potential games, that's an average of about 70 a year. Unless you expect him to hurt himself while doing pushups on a yearly basis, that's not really much of a history to go on. Irving has a much more sketchy history so far. Besides, even if they do get hurt, they have two guys that can put up numbers off the bench in Waiters and Thompson (I'm assuming Varejao and Marion start). I find this position funny given the team we all support. Even if you ignore Rose (which is a glaring issue to ignore), Noah has played 70 games once in the last 5 years (lockout caveat as well to be fair) and is frequently hobbling around in the playoffs, Gasol has missed 55 games the last two years and Butler had issues last year as well. That's really a case of the crow calling the raven black. There are enough real issues to worry about with Cleveland without picking nits. The bottom line is they're adding the best player in the league and another top-15 player without losing anything mind-blowing from last year's squad. I think they'll probably get the 2 seed because they'll have to work out some kinks, but they'll be a force to be reckoned with at the end of the year. Well you know the Bulls are going to win their regular season trophy.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 05:49 PM) No loss there, he did nothing for me. He was like the Gordon Beckham of the WWE, always given chances, never really doing anything. He was just plain boring. Good worker but could never get over cause he was so bland, especially after they broke him and Ricardo up. I am interested to hear about this altercation that finally got him released though

Eaton leaves game after running into fence
QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 10:24 AM) You can be aggressive and not run full speed into a wall to try to catch a ball that landed like five rows back. Absolutely but I always have a hard time getting angry at guys for doing stuff like that. Obviously it's better for everyone if they just tone it down but sometimes a player/person is just wired to go all out, all the time.

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 04:08 PM) I'm a Michigan fan. Wanted to go, was accepted, but didn't feel like paying my whole life. Since I didn't go there, I've never felt comfortable trash talking other fans. Just follow and pull for them. You better not be cheering for Michigan when that SIU-UM National Championship happens in basketball.
