Hope the lack of a good looking line doesn't take away from how Carson actually looked out there tonight. His pitches seemingly had more movement on them than they've had for the past 2 years and that was awesome to see. Still has to harness his control as when he was getting hit around it's because he was falling behind hitters. Certainly not saying he's going to be part of the future rotation or anything but at least he's starting to show something out there.

That was fun! I really hope everyone just enjoys this season even when this team has their low moments. The highs are going to be super fun like today. Great start!

This team is still really bad as is, Niko isn't going to shoot 60 percent all year. The tank will be fine. Things do change a bit when Lavine comes back but you wait as long as possible to bring him back. Like make sure he's all the way healthy.

I don't see the actual point in driving the price up for Machado? I'm not buying that.
