This. We all know Bob has been Kenny's mouthpiece for years but I'm not sure I'm buying it this year with what they've been public with. If they're trying to play the misdirection game, they're doing an awful job of it.

Normally I'd completely agree with this but the front office has pretty much set themselves up for that at this point. Will only have themselves to blame.

I just think STL has soured on Kelly. Not necessarily saying right or wrong but that's why I don't think they see this as an overpay. He was also going to be blocked again this year so I think they wanted to use him to get their big bat and obviously Goldschmidt is one of the bigger ones out there.

I’m pretty much on wait and see mode to see how the rest of the offseason plays out. Either way it’s certainly not a bad trade imo.

And for a team like the Sox where Harper might not know what the actual plan is in 2019 it sure makes sense to have that kind of laid out for him. As has already been said by numerous people, no one is saying this is going to be a huge selling point for Bryce but it's sure not going to hurt.

Here’s the thing... your “criticism” of Okada-Omega makes a ton of sense to me. You’re not invested in their characters so you don’t care about the in ring stuff, I get that. I love their matches but I get that. Your criticism of NXT not telling stories isn’t an opinion, it’s just 100 percent wrong. They literally tell the best stories in pro wrestling. But it is what it is.

This comment is almost as laughable as Y2HH saying he’s watched NXT before.

I'm pretty convinced you don't give NXT a shot at all. I completely understand it not being your style. It's pro wrestling, everyone has their likes and dislikes, that's what's great about this time in the wrestling business is there is something for everyone. That said, to say NXT doesn't have character development or good storylines is just flat out incorrect. Their matches and their ppv's are always great but the reason people get so invested in the characters is because of how they're presented and the build ups in these feuds.

Thought it was really good overall. Main event was dumb and f*** Lesnar but whatever, didn't give a s*** about that match anyways. I also thought Taker-Cena was super stupid and yes of course it got a pop out of the crowd, Taker will always get a pop out of the crowd but he had a perfect send off last year and wish they would have just left it there. And Cena could be used a lot better. Nak-Styles was good, not great imo but high expectations there. They over thought the crap out of the Bryan match but awesome to see that dude back. Ronda and the IC title match were the highlights for me and I had no expectations for the mixed tag going in.

Ladder match was incredible, still might be 3rd on my MOTY list at the moment. That might be the best card of all time under the wwe umbrella though. Every freaking match was at least great.

On Engel's defense, dude gets to balls that most CF's don't. The two balls he's dropped this year I don't think a lot of CF's get to. That said, he's here for his defense and if he's going to get to those balls he has to finish the play off and make the catch. On the throw to home, I have no issue with the thought process, if he makes a good throw there he's got a good chance to get the runner, problem is he didn't make a good throw. And ya, Nate was getting squared up pretty good last night but as long as he's healthy, he'll be fine.
