Slav you forgot to mention Valverde and Fister as having ridiculous over achieving years. Detroit really isn't that good. As for Peavy and Sale's "health issues" well at this point of the season we're all paranoid for no reason. They're as healthy as any two pitchers in baseball. Detroit isn't winning 95 games and we'll be fighting with them until the end.

An offensive slump coupled with a pitching staff decimated by injuries has made for a bad week of baseball. Guess what? This was a pretty good offense before the asb so they aren't going to slump forever and we're about to add 3 quality pitchers to the staff, this team will be just fine. Everyone needs to calm the f*** down.

Happy this thread got bumped. Since I moved to the city my diet and work out schedule has been god awful. I'm getting back at it tomorrow though so hopefully this thread being around will keep me motivated. Very frustrated at myself as I've been so obsessed with my fitness for the last 2 years, researched everything and anything and just have gone back to living my college life the last month and a half. No more f***in excuses, need to get back to where I was.

The guy was batting near .400 he was going to regress at some point. Despite this slump he's still leading the sox in ops. He'll be fine, he's our best hitter you don't move him around. If you start to do that we're just going to keep f***in with the lineup when Alex goes into a slump(and it will happen) or when Youk starts swinging it not as well. Not to mention Alex is clearly comfortable where he is and for a guy who we've all pretty much called a head case one time or another, there's just no reason to take out of that comfort zone.

Any chance for rock interference setting up a triple threat with the rock, punk and cena for ss? That could at least make things interesting.

I get that Cena and Punk are your two biggest names right now but after having them in one of the best storylines last summer since the attitude era, this build up would just be extremely lackluster. A y2j-ziggler feud should be damn good though.

I randomly have Friday off of work so for the first time in my life I'm going to go see a movie at the theatres by myself. Can't wait.

Fair market deal for Forte but I just dont see the point in giving a rb a long term deal. Odds are that Forte will be useless by the 3rd or 4th year of the deal.
