QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 08:28 PM) This shows that Miami >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bulls at least right now. Rose has been nullfied and Deng is garbage against Lebron, 2 points? Laughs out loud.

Arguably the two best defensive teams in the NBA, it's not a shock that both teams shot bad. Is anyone else yet convinced that this Bulls team is legit? Bueller?

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 04:45 PM) I am stunned the Bulls stood pat. If they were willing to ride or die (and they will die, early in the playoffs) with Keith Bogans at two guard because they didn't want to trade Omer Asik, then shame on them even more. I just don't see any way a team as weak at the 2 and 3 as the Bulls can do much in the playoffs. Oh ya, the Bulls are so damn weak at the 3.

I'm alright with the Bulls staying pat. We ARE a championship contender at the moment, Boston and Miami are still the favorites in the east imo but we're right there with them and the Perkins trade boggles my freakin mind. Orlando is a distant 4th and NY isn't even in the picture. If I had to make a bet at the moment, I'd say we'll be playing Miami in the ECF and losing to them in 6 or 7.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 12:29 PM) I'd personally rather give up Taj than Omer. Taj is a lot easier to replace imo. In the long term I agree, short term not so much. Problem is, that Mayo is pretty much a long term guy right now as well, cause we keep hearing about his ceiling but to be perfectly honest he's just not that great yet. Yes, he's certainly better than Bogans and Brewer offensively right now but like I said before, he's going to be taking some possessions away from Rose and our perimeter defense is just going to be hot garbage when those two are out there together. Add in the attitude problems and I'm still very conflicted on if I want Mayo on this team or not.

QUOTE (SnB @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 11:03 AM) Do you need to buy tickets beforehand? I'll be over there March 10th - 15th. I assume the cubs/sox game might sell out, but what's the ticket situation for the other games? I figured we could save on ticketmaster fees if it's not needed. You'll be fine if you buy them there.

QUOTE (flavum @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 12:04 PM) Why wasn't Timo part for Core Four? Nope. Apparently he was the bench outcast. EDIT: Oops, completely misread that at first. He wasn't in their batting group so he wasn't part of "group 4."

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 11:03 PM) Wait, some dude on Providence dropped 52 tonight against ND? Whoa Last time I checked, Brooks was leading the Big East in scoring. Dude can definitely score a bit.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 06:32 PM) 10 boards in the 1st quarter. Wow. Nice to have him back, no doubt.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 02:11 PM) REMOVE THAT!!!!!!!!!! D'angelo was one of my least favorite guys to ever play for the Sox. I could not stand that asshole.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 04:12 PM) Because of his game or his attitude? I think his attitude would be OK, he would be joining a Finals contender alongside one of the best players in the game now. His game would be great for what the Bulls need IMO Both to be honest. I don't want anyone taking possessions away from Rose and Mayo would do just that. Yes, he does have some upside, I'm certainly not going to argue that(that'd be the one reason I wouldn't mind trading for him) but at this point he might be more of a nuisance than anything else.- Spring Training Pictures
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 04:45 PM) Heh. Dunn is on that top 10 list 3 times. COUNTRY STRONG. Sorry, thought I'd beat Hawk to the punch.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
I'm very conflicted on whether I want Mayo on this team. I know I don't want to move Taj or Omer for Courtney Lee though.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 05:51 PM) 2nd round pick, supposedly. This works for me. It might set something else up or open things up for a bigger deal. Hopefully it's setting up something, otherwise it just seems pointless to dump him for what is pretty much nothing.- *Official* Work Out Thread
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 10:11 PM) Well in the interest of getting some more traffic to this thread and perhaps getting a pinned one, I'll write a 30 and 60 min workout of the month based on some of the feedback above. I just made it the official work out thread for now. We'll just use this for now and if we keep getting a lot of traffic, we can do something else if necessary. And ya, write up a work out of the month, that's a good idea. The more feedback/work out ideas anyone can give the better since we obviously have a variety of people with different fitness levels who read this. On an actual work out note, I think I'm going to start doing some more high intensity stuff to up my explosiveness when it comes to sports a bit. I'm starting to play in a lot of different sports leagues again and I want to be at the top of my game.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 12:15 AM) It seems somewhat likely that the Knicks would be the Bulls' opponent in the first round. The Knicks can't get to the top 5. Ya the Knicks aren't catching the Hawks, but the Bulls could catch the Heat or Celtics.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 12:08 AM) Yeah, you do this deal every time if you're the Knicks. I agree buuuut all it did for this year is make them the 5th best team in the East instead of the 6th. That being said, they're obviously much more dangerous going forward now.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 09:47 PM) Wade could be hurt. One of the sportscenter anchors said it best when he said that it appears that Wade almost gets hurt in every game. That asshole is always limping around. Surprised they didn't have to roll him out of the arena on a wheelchair.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 10:48 PM) Though I hate him, LeBron was robbed of the All-Star game MVP award. What now? Kobe deserved it. LeBron certainly had a great game but you can't say he was robbed of anything when the winner of the award had 37 and 14.- Matt Thornton
He's a good baseball player for my favorite baseball team.- Catch All Anything Thread
