  1. He wasn't put on the 40 man roster and if you are not on it and you play a certain amount of years for that team you can be selected in the Rule V draft.
  2. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Oct 22, 2006 -> 08:35 PM) If you like seeing at least one guy thrown out at home by 20 feet every week, Joey is your guy. If joey was the manager he wouldn't be sending people home from the dugout......or would he?
  3. Oak Forest is ranked 6th in 6A and are playing some team from Normal in the first round.
  4. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Oct 20, 2006 -> 01:04 PM) Great trade, zoom... But in the interest of fairness, I hope sayitaintso is aware that bogut is out with a leg sprain... Im aware now, i don't follow basketball at all. I don't care though. He's on my bench anyways.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 30, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) Don't listen to what you read in the press....there's a zero percent chance that Podsednik is brought back. My answer to this question would be either Juan Pierre or C. Crisp. If the sox signed Coco Crisp i would be estatic. He's my favorite player.
  6. QUOTE(greg775 @ Oct 5, 2006 -> 10:00 PM) Get rid of Vas; cut our losses. Keep Freddie. That said, I would anticipate Fred gets dealt and he will be the only one dealt. I think that Freddy is going to get the boot. He and his blazing 85 mph fastball can go somewhere else.
  7. I would like to be in a league too.
  8. If pablo is gone next year than i'm gone too or follow what team he will be on. Ill always love "El Chispo" (sp?)
  9. i predict that the sox will go 5-8 and will miss the playoffs.

  11. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Sep 9, 2006 -> 11:00 AM) It's not a defining moment if we don't play well the rest of the year. EXACTLY! If we play like s*** the rest of the year then this game really didnt matter, but if we pull off some run and make in into the playoffs then this can be considered a defining moment.
  12. Oak Forest beat Oak Lawn last night 48-0 to now become 3-0. OFO led 42-0 after the first half. They owned them last night.
  13. QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 5, 2006 -> 07:05 PM) Pujols is, by far, the best hitter in baseball. In other words, yes. Duh! I think that he will hit more HR's then he will get K's.
  14. I voted for split because even though we haven't been playing the best ball as of late, the division is still within reach (4.5 games) and we are only .5 games back in the WC.
  15. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Sep 6, 2006 -> 10:17 AM) Seriously guys, if God was human, he would be Ryan Sweeney with a baseball bat, spikes and a Sox uniform. The kid is a stud and all the underacheiver label he got from scouts and such because his power hadn't come through yet is just garbage. The kid will hit at any level. Give up for the 21-year old who also is our best hitter now. I wouldn't be comparing Sweeney to the Almighty God, but he did look good last night. Hopefully he will keep it up today if he is in the lineup, which i heard he was but i'm not 100% sure he will be.

  17. QUOTE(beleiveinbrian44 @ Sep 4, 2006 -> 11:20 AM) gooch did have one but it was really light Like 5 O'Clock shadow light or he forgot to shave that morning.
  18. I think that he will get to .240 but i'll even go crazier and say that he will manage to get his BA up to .250.
  19. I don't think the Guch has one but i haven't looked at his chin recently so i wouldn't know.
  20. QUOTE(beautox @ Sep 2, 2006 -> 01:11 AM) agreed, how does everyone feel about Sweeney in the Lead off posistion this year and possibly next? I'm all for it. I would love this move just because i'm a huge sweeney fan.
  21. JD = the SH** & MVP plain and simple
  22. I think that he will hit under 40, i think he will hit 35 HR's this year.
  23. I remembered about the draft at 11 15 and then it was too late. Sorry i missed it.
