Mark Buehrle-Future Hall of Famer?
http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/news/story?id=4354199 How cool would it be if MB wrapped up 10 more years in a sox uni to close out a HOF career? Considering most of us were huge sox fans when he came up through the minors, it would be awesome.

Do you like ESPN?
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 24, 2009 -> 01:03 PM) ESPN has basically become an NBA/NFL network, even in July. The NBA gets no more off season news in July than MLB would in December.

How does Billy Beane do it?
WOW. Steal is right.

Do you like ESPN?
My ESPN activity has dipped significantly in the last few years. Borderline tabloid is right.

The Day After-- Sox vs Tigers (Contreras vs Verlander) 12:05PM CSN
BTW steve, maybe because it is the first game of a double header? That would have a little to do with it. If I made the lineups I would definitely start Wise the next day after that catch.

QUOTE (bighurt574 @ Jul 24, 2009 -> 11:14 AM) Wise leading off, nice. How often do you see a guy make a great catch and then lead off the next inning... well done

Didn't Ben Davis bunt to breakup a no hitter? lol- Spank the Kiddies
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 09:19 PM) When I was a kid, I thought getting spanked all the time was child abuse, mom & dad don't love me, blah, blah blah. But I'll tell ya what, I'm glad they did as it's helped me as a person in life become respectful, outgoing, polite, mature, etc.. Sure I can be a bad ass out here, but I know I'm not that kid acting a fool in public, or in a jail cell doing something stupid. I can also tell the difference between me and my sister who is my age, and my little brother who is about 7-8 years younger than me, on how wild he is cause of my parents getting older raising him. this- Ahem...... Hello
QUOTE (DePloderer @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:58 PM) No I think you meant this one I used both of them, probably 6months for the first, then the updated one when he signed with Oakland.- Ahem...... Hello
QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:37 PM) Welcome back. Now we can finally get some decent desktop backgrounds! Oops, Um...sorry knightni. P.S. I demand an awesome perfect game sig! LOL damn- Ahem...... Hello
QUOTE (DePloderer @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:42 PM) You mean this one? yup. That sig was awesome !- Oh, yeah!
QUOTE (Linnwood @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 04:25 PM) A cherry on top! I love cherries! This has been a long time coming!- Dewayne Wise to be interviewed on Sportscenter
QUOTE (T R U @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:28 PM) If that was the third inning of a scoreless game, its a great catch.. Top of the 9th with a perfect game on the line, that was something else.. fully agree. This will be in conversation of the greatest baseball catches of all time. circumstance x difficulty sure puts it high up there- Ahem...... Hello
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:26 PM) All the good old posters are comming back. Great to see. Welcome back DePloderer, though I still say Goldy owns in the sig department. Seriously, this is good to see- Ahem...... Hello
I still remember the awesome Thomas sig you made me. Thank You and welcome back. Don't be a stranger. I am sure there are others who can't catch games and still get all their White Sox news here.- MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:19 PM) I swore I saw someone in the Rays dugout leap up with both arms in the air as the last out was being made. It looked pat Burrell threw a fist of joy running down the 1st base line when he thought his line drive foul ball was a hit.- MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
Dewayne Wise a top twitter trend LOL . I must be dreaming.- MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 07:09 PM) Mark Buehrle has faced the minimum, not twice, but THREE TIMES. Perfect Game No-hitter (pickoff after a walk) Two-hitter (two double plays) I wonder if that's a record. It certainly feels like a record. Good point, gotta find that out. BTW , MB just showed Jake Peavy how to play in the AL (against a top 3 offense in the AL), in our HR friendly park.- What is it going to take for Buehrle to win the Cy Young Award this ye
Felix Hernandez to get traded to the NL. Seriously, I'd say the era has to get closer to the leaders (at least top 3).- Colon Activated; Torres Optioned
In other news.......... Perfect Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Dewayne Wise to be interviewed on Sportscenter
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 06:15 PM) This is without a doubt the best day of Dewayne Wises' life. Unless, he really likes his children, does he have children? His children boo him. Not today! Seriously though, not sure. edit: did not see the other Wise thread, feel free to merge. Just thought wise on SC would be one of the funniest thread titles in ST history. btw mb is on right now- Dewayne Wise to be interviewed on Sportscenter
LOL whoulda thunk it?- Boos for Bobby? Really?
