Both teams were warned and Grifol was tossed for arguing about the Sox being warned when they did nothing. Next inning Burger hit a HR and they did the black jacket/black hat routine and Sox next hitter Zavala and the Rays catcher exchanged words at the plate.

Burger is the best player on the team.

I'm pretty sure that's the reason Eflin threw at Robert after the Vaughn HR.

There's something seriously wrong with this entire Reinsdorf organization. They can't develop any young players, and veterans with decent track records regress, crash and burn when they join this team. They play stupid baseball and don't even seem to be familiar with fundamentals.

This is the worst team I ever saw. Even worse than any Cubs team.

When the White Sox didn't make Bryce Harper their number one FA priority and instead tried to influence Machado by signing Jon Jay and Yonder Alonso, the rebuild was doomed to fail. Hahn put together a very flawed young core, then failed to augment that core with elite FA talent, instead spending the money on mediocre middle relievers and overrated utility players.

TA would be the first guy I would trade to break up this shitshow of a team.

So which DH will they pick this time? Or will they go with a pitcher they can rush up to the pen by August?

Jake Burger is the only guy I really "like" on this team. Maybe Andrew Vaughn too. Most of the others I couldn't care less about and there are quite a few I downright dislike.

Whit Merrifield would have looked good at 2B or RF on the White Sox.

Exactly how I feel. Ozzie and this organization deserve each other and we fans might as well get some entertainment out of this shitshow.

Don't know if it really made any impact at all or if it was just purely coincidental, but it seems like the whole vibe around this team took a nosedive around the time Tony LaRussa publicly shamed Yermin Mercedes for hitting a home run and then gave his blessing to having the Twins pitcher intentionally throw at him. Still the roster construction of this team sucks and the "young championship core" was grossly overrated.
