O's v. Sox, 6/23/22 GT
My favorite Steve Kerr quote" 80% of slow is still slow."

Lenyn Sosa joins the White Sox; 2 years later, Banana Ball to Chicago
It's definitely possible but it would still be 6 weeks minimum.

Mendick, Engel, and (maybe) Robert leave with injuries
On the positive side, he is guaranteed to be on the MLB roster with that pay, benefits and service time for the next year.

Hope so. Such a good guy.

It's much easier to deal with things like that when he plays 1B or DH only.

Is that why the Dodgers are starting Eddy Alvarez in the OF and traded for Trayce Thompson?

The way they've slow played young players into the lineup, Vaughn for instance, I don't him getting more games than that anyway.

O's v. Sox, 6/23/22 GT
They aren't a really good team right now. They are missing nearly half the lineup. What matter is if they are a really good team in August and September.

How is crochet indicative of the lack of cohesion? They had a plan. Most on this board didn't like the plan but they had a plan.

He had surgery on it. It will always be an issue.

LH Bat Trade Options
I wouldn't give up significant assets for a part time player. Jimenez, Pollock, Robert, Vaughn aren't going anywhere.

LH Bat Trade Options
The issue is it really needs 2B, a 2B (?). As the OF/DH is pollock and Robert with Jimenez and Vaughn. There is no room for a new regular in the OF.

Crochet hoping to be a starter
They usually use a tendon from your wrist called the Palmaris longus. . It's not really useful but not everyone has one. If they don't have one they'll use a portion of the semitendinousus hamstring tendon. They aren't as strong as a ligament but they weave it together in a figure 8. Believe it or not, when that tendon dies because it has been removed, it comes back with physical properties more of a ligament and not a tendon as it was. Still not exactly a ligament but closer.

Crochet hoping to be a starter
That has no bearing on the conversation on how to possibly make him a starter.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX BIG ENERGY WINNER!!!
And with your Spirit. Get with the times!

Crochet hoping to be a starter
What are you talking about?
-
Crochet hoping to be a starter
Agreed. He's going to need 2 years to build up to starter innings.
-
Crochet hoping to be a starter
I still say it's all about the innings build up. It would be the same if they left him in the minors

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX PACKED LUNCH WINNER!!!
Yep.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX PACKED LUNCH WINNER!!!
You're probably right with Haseley. Although with the LH, it still maybe Mendick.

So now who is gone when Moncada returns? We know they won't get rid of Leury. So is it Mendick?
