    Correct. This is my point. The poster is mad that TA is successful against Houck and should be playing. But TLR probably told him a few days ago that Sunday is a day off for him so he may have not been prepared to play.

    I'm probably one of the few long term thinkers/planners in the entire site. The point remains that if the team succeeds in the long term for the season, regardless if what fans think prior to or early in the season, the front office will have succeeded.

    Giolito was just on the radio and said his off season training goal with his fitness trainer was to add bulk so he could get to 200 innings effectively. I know I'm old but having a goal of 200 innings is just wrong.

    I don't think the Sox almost had either of them. The posters here wanted that but I don't think that was ever truly reported that they were close on a deal for either of those.

    In another thread someone posted they had to do a cortisone injection. That is typically a internal joint issue not just a contusion.

    I wouldn't go that far yet. They need to see how it responds to the injection. It be could just another week.

    He will not be as good of a hitter. However his defense does elevate him relatively.

    It seems TLR likes to put the struggling players the spot before Abreu. He did it early with Robert when he was struggling.

    I said when they signed him he was just going to be a part time player as his bonuses started at 400 plate appearances.

    I don't think people realize how QBs are evaluated by coa he's and scouts. Ot isn't just the numbers they put up. They look at factors like, decision making, did he throw to right target, did he put the ball where it was supposed to go. None of these factors have anything to do with the catches the receiver makes. There will be a lot of information on which to base their decision about Feilds upon. Plenty of which have nothing to do with how talented the receiver is. That is another factor of course but it isn't the only or even the primary factor.

    Woah. Do you mean to tell me that decisions are made by multiple people, not just one? If it doesn't work we can't just blame a single person that's makes decisions without input from others? /sarcasm rant (not targeted at this poster)
