Yep. The only tendons that they use cortisone on in the wrist are the ones near the thumb that have a synovial sheath because they inject the sheath not really the tendon.
-
Yeah. Wrist issues can linger for hitters.
-
NFL rosters are much bigger so that percentage is spread out over more players. I think someone mentioned the MLB players were getting about 47% of revenue.
-
That's in the middle. Certain wrist surgeries can be long rehabs. Bit those aren't very likely.
-
Don't want to go there. Worst case scenario is one of a multitude of surgeries and the season is over. Most likely though is 2-4 weeks for the more common issues.
-
Yep. It's not a good sign that's for sure.
-
Do you payroll for the employees on the field only? What about the staff throughout the rest of the organization? The MLB players are about what 20-25% of the employees?
-
All sports still do it.

They do it for massive inflammation in one of the areas. It's a strong anti-inflammatory not a pain killer. They are trying to decrease inflammation in an area not in the skin or superficial tissues like a contusion would be. Its not necessarily structural damage. Could be just internal joint inflammation which lasts longer. I had to guess its in one of the wrist joints. That's the most common place for cortisone injections although not exclusively. Could be a longer lasting issue.

I think that more about the networks paying the cost for the extra games because there are only 17 of them. Would they pay the extra cost if there were 162?
-
Uh oh. Now you are talking joint or tensynovitis issues not a contusion or bone bruise.
-
He better have been walking around after 5 days.

How about the rule in the NFL where all Monday and Thursday night games are separate from the normal hame package as well? They sell them off separately. I think most if not all Thursday games are on prime this year. It's not like baseball is the only one.

But you can get clam chowder in the stadium. It's awesome.

Until the RH start hitting RHP he seems to be loading the lineup with as many LH as possible. Sheets, Garcia and McGuire
-
Are they trying to not let Hamilton reach his bonus like Keuchal?

I have the app downloaded to the firestick. I imagine you can download it to Roku if it doesn't come with it.
-
That's probably a bigger issue, nit having the rights.
-
They also have the most games. How many fans sit down and watch all 162? How many are on other platforms, 20? You still get 142 games. My guess is the typical fans hardly notices.
-
I don't think they will yet. With the shortened spring training and the desire to keep Kopech's innings down, I think they go through May before they start skipping the 5th starter. Then they have Lynn to replace him and maybe Cueto.

I'm surprised you're siding on the front office to screw over a player. Isn't a good look from potential free agents and the union when the front office not even the Manger purposefully orchestrates playing time to avoid paying someone. Doesn't this go against your philosophy of always being against business owners in favor of the employees? I'm not saying your wrong just surprised you want to take money away from the employee on purpose.

You have to wonder if the reporting is more the FO or medical staff, in general. The Vaughn injury surprising as contusions and bone bruises are really difficult to predict. But many of the others are head scratchers.

Moncada in a week.

It is for this team. For whatever reason.
