  1. Or pulling a pitcher with no one warming up.
  2. That's fine. You are allowed your opinion.
  3. Someone trying to help him with a rule he didn't know is him treating people poorly? Obviously he isn't a Saint nit who is? People on this order have been worse. At least you can list his incidences. For AJ it wouldn't be possible. The nicest thing people said about AJ was that he may ne an a$$ nit he's ours a$$ Recency bias. Everyone forgets what AJ was like but sees TLR today.
  4. Go back over time and look at their careers. TLR was a very successful manager. You can't do that without getting along with others.
  5. Among other things that weren't made public. I really wouldn't say I have it in for him as much I just can't see it happening. Maybe he's grown up since leaving the game and will prove me wrong.
  6. I said people, not everyone.
  7. But neither could get along with anyone.
  8. At least LaRussa can get along with people. AJ would have a revolt in a week.
  9. No one would tolerate AJ as a manager.
  10. I do go to those as well. Still not the same experience as MLB. Maybe it because I worked in the league.
  11. I wouldn't call them veterans. Many are young. Guys like Vaughn and Robert barely have a full season. Either preference but still baseball.
  12. I still enjoy going to the Sox games. Who knows about those 2. The performance have absolutely tanked. There us obviously something wrong. Players just don't crash like that. My votes are 1. Leg injuries. 2. Long COVID 3. PED crash. Not necessarily in that order for each of them.
  13. Agreed. I go to games because I enjoy baseball. Win or lose. Too many people only care about winning. Of course winning is better. But baseball is baseball.
  14. We've had Bears tickets since the 60s. I still go to the game but you're right I sell most of the ones in December and January now.
  15. He also couldn't play and slumped at the end of last year due to a back injury caused by not being used to playing a full season.
  16. That's why they drafted him. He consistently had one of the highest exit velocities in the NCAA.
  17. The are constantly talking. Katz always talks about how he handles his pitching staff and how he has then work. TLR is known for letting his pitching coach do his own thing and really doesn't get involved. Can't vouch for the hitting coach and their relationship.
  18. Another day off for the hamstring. ?
  19. I guess you can lump physician's with training staff but most wouldn't. They have distinct roles. The training staff is the day to day plan of care and rehab after the physicians determine the diagnosis from the physical exam and imaging. They determined the grade 1 strain by: 1. Imaging 2. Range of motion 3. Tenderness/defect in the muscle 4. Decreased functional activities.
  20. The diagnosis will be coming from the physicians not the training staff.
  21. This is what makes me think he really is just having some chronic leg issues.
  22. He's always been a low key personality. Players just don't lose it at 26-27. Answer: I have no clue. However, if his legs are still bothering him it does make it difficult to drive the ball
  23. He probably means no discomfort while he is not doing activity. It would hurt to run. This is why it is a grade 1. Can't do aggressive activity yet but is good with rest.
  24. I really don't think energizing the fan base is a top priority nor should it be.
  25. To be honest, I didn't think this lineup would get 5 guys on base, let alone 5 runs.
