  1. Yes it is. The White sox had one of the fewest IL usage rates in the MLB for years. If you are only looking at the last 3 years you are correct but to say "have always" is wrong. The Deng issue had nothing to do with the training staff. That isn't their job. That had everything to do with the hospital and physicians.
  2. It's more the latter. But its because if nothing is found d it's easy to interpret the images. However, if they find something they need to analyze the images much closer to determine the amount of damage and if it warrants surgery and how it compares to the physical exam.
  3. This is totally and utterly false.
  4. Sounds like a plica. Very good news.
  5. Usually meniscus or the patella catching. Hope for the patella.
  6. Hopefully more along the lines of patella femoral issue or a tendinopathy.
  7. Not necessarily. Depends what it is the the knee.
  8. That's true. Sprained ankles never happen in sports. How could they allow this to happen?

With how bad the team has played, I'm not surprised that the WAR is lower. Just like last year when Goodwin and Hamilton were playing out of their minds it looked like they lost less WAR.

And the Tigers are worse than the Sox for a record. Makes sense with more injuries. If the six are 11th that means they have had more injuries than most. It is improving and the record will need to improve to make the playoffs.

He did take responsibility for the loss after the game.

Without a doubt if they miss the playoffs. There will be an excuse of the season being too hard on his health or something like that.

I dont know if i agree yet. It all depends on where the team finishes. Ends justify the means. If they get healthy and beat up on the easy schedule, nothing will change

He's done that as well. Last year the there were people complaining he was admitting to too many mistakes and should be fired.

JR won't sell because he's a big baseball fan and loved owning a team.

They didn't have to. Gio answered questions he was asked. I don't think TLR should take the blame for Gio performance.

I don't have a problem with him going as ultimately he is the manager and responsible for the team performance. However with the poor hitting and injuries, I can't see anyone really doing much better. Managers just really don't matter that much in baseball and I'll stick with it.
  18. This is why he has caught less than half the games this year.
  19. My apologies. Sarcasm meter is off today.
  20. So now they need to rest players more even if the bat is hot? Seems contradictory to most posts stating they need to have the hot bats stay in the lineup. I been stating all year that rarely do catchers play in day games following night games and have been ridiculed for it.
  21. Just as he was starting to hit. May get to see Perez.
  22. Catching is hard on the legs. Always stiff and sore.
  23. So now your are advocating more days off for a player? ? Just kidding. Yes he even admits his legs are there yet and it's obvious. For all those screaming about TLR playing Reese to much now you know why.
  24. Oops. Fat fingers.
  25. True but he has a long way to good. He's also not as entertaining. Bevington was a show.
