  1. The contaminated soil will be analyzed and decisions will be made on that prior to the ground breaking. Core samples will be taken. Once they break ground it shouldn't be much different.
  2. If you listen to Warren from the bears, it's 3 years from ground breaking to playable.
  3. To have more teams try to sign his free agents He'll do the same for Cease in 2 years when he ia an FA. Its all about driving up the price for his FA clients.
  4. I agree. From the south burbs, GRF is easy to get to and from.
  5. Isn't that how the current stadium is funded, a hotel and entertainment tax of some kind?
  6. Not a fan of his system. I'm surprised Eberflus would be.
  7. You're right it does. The railroad along the park is like Baltimore where a road goes through the concourse area but it's closed during games.
  8. The largest cost is the specialized landfill permits needed to dump the contaminated soil.
  9. I don't think it really matters. JRhas shown he will finance a stadium when he is forced to and when it makes economic sense.
  10. The tent cities do not need all of the EPA approvals because they aren't disposing of the ground waste into a landfill.
  11. I think with his injury history it's a good gamble. For the last three years he has had 32 or 33 starts. It's always a gamble with pitchers but with him it's probably a good one.
  12. The Bears are working like hell to get out of that deal.
  13. I think they are a little upset with his work ethic/attitude and want to keep him in the minors to have him work to earn it
  14. That's an understatement. Come August it was true for 75% of the players.
  15. Correct. This was a comment on the Ricky Henderson days when I was there.
  16. Actually back then the coffee was laced with amphetamines. We had 2 pots of coffee in the clubhouse labeled leaded and unleaded. To the lay person it was caffeinated and decaf. It was really amphetamines or no amphetamines.
  17. Is there data or just his comments. I would like to see some numbers
  18. They do have quite a bit of cap room to buy a good WR.
  19. The only thing that matters to them is the postseason.
  20. This would be my perfect an as well. QB, protect QB, help QB be more explosive in the offense.
  21. The steelers did this as well in Rothlesbergersast year. They started out 11-0 then lost to Cleveland in the last game of the season and the first game of the playoffs
  22. I agree. It just seems that the fans at least are ready for a change. He would be a great coach to have and with all of the openings, it maybe a good time for him.
