QUOTE(winodj @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 09:21 AM) Thats W. Diddy to you. Is that pronounced "dub" Diddy?

Dont you think that the OF'er would be Gabe Kapler, who mysteriously signed to play in Japan, and now is back? I know you said big names but Kapler is the obvious choice for me...

This is my kinda game....

I was kinda hoping Phil would choke....

Sarah Silverman, for some reason I find her attractive, and I think she's pretty funny too.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 08:10 AM) Saw 'Skeleton Key' this weekend. Movie, very bad. Kate Hudson, oh so good. That's exactly what I thought... The end was decent too.... You know when she says repeatedly "I dont believe"? I had a good chunk of the audience laughing when after that I yelled, "I dont believe I just paid for this...", you had to be there, I didnt mean for it to be that loud either...

For me, I think it's either the Al Michaels Miracle call or the one when Gibson comes off the bench and hits the HR to win. If anyone has links to either can you post them?

QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:17 AM) Lennon/McCartney--but Boby Dylan give me reason to pause saying that. That's my feeling as well.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 09:50 AM) ....but does Detroit have any interest in Perrault? There IS some black in the Blackhawks' color scheme, y'know.... I dont really like the black sweater too much. The red one is the best in the NHL though, no doubt about it. -

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 11, 2005 -> 08:27 AM) Get him; Yep...Perrault is someone that would fit well in a Red and White sweater. AND SF1, I dont know how much you know about earlier Hawk heroes, but IMO Calder can be compared to Steve Larmer, with worse hands. -

The hawks resign Mark Bell LINK Also, for those who care, Roman Turek retired. linky One of my personal favs is still out there, although I dont think advocate his signing, former Hawk and current nasty boy Bryan Marchment. And nitetrain, Dead Head missed all of the last season with post concussion syndrome, that seems like a bit of a gamble to me. -

QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 06:13 PM) our best 2 players got suspended for substance abuse policy infranctions. son of a b****.. Our players get caught and then slapped on the wrist. The team got caught at a party last week, and the cops said everyone had to leave and it'll be cool. Some of the baseball players got caught as well, were charged or whatever, and still werent suspended by the school. -
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) I will be applying to: Grand Valley State University St. Cloud State University Rutgers University University of Minnesota Akron University Just out of curiousity, are you going to visit all of these places? Because I've seen you and Keith have said you're looking at certain schools and I havent read anything about visiting anywhere. IMO, you need to visit multiple schools to get a feel for the campus. You cant go to one place and say ok, I'm going here. Just because you hear good things doesnt mean you'll like it. You need to see the residence halls, food courts, rec centers and all the s*** on campus and s*** around campus. Now, I just got back from Grand Valley State in Michigan, hoping I can play hockey there next year. Loved the campus and was able to compare it to Marquette, U of I, Millikin, and UIC. I'm starting to find what I like and dislike on campuses and what best suits my needs. Next week I'm going to visit Butler and see if I like it there. You guys can apply all you want, but it's pointless if you havent been there.

Dean McAmmond was signed by the Blues today, too bad the Hawks didn't keep him I really liked him and he has proven to be a real good 2nd line playmaker. :fyou Mike Smith -

QUOTE(Brian @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 08:59 PM) Iowa went and saw Moore twice last year, I heard. Northwestern and NIU went to see one of our backs at Oak Forest. He's currently at St. Francis. So take that for what it's worth. -

Good news Hawk fans Osgood is back in net for Detroit. He just signed today. He's not the Ossie of old and I think the Hawks could light him up for a few. Unfortunately, he'll probably be backing up Manny Legace, who is outstanding against the Hawks.... -

QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 10:28 PM) Locker boxed with a blocker? Yikes.... thats pretty heavy duty i'd take you on with a blocker though anyways. Im undefeated with a record of 20something 0 and 1 tie after we both got bloody. Im comfortable with handling a goalie. -

In full goalie gear, and I swear i almost knocked out a defenseman with the blocker. My team has outlawed blockers in future matches. -

Look, I was out of line in saying that, I admit it. I guess I think that you think you know alot about hockey and try to show off a little and some of the stuff you say makes no sense for someone who claims to watch a lot of hockey to say. -
Anyone going to Coldplay at Alpine Valley this weekend? I think I'm making the trip with my buddies. Its probably the best concert venue I'll ever go to in my life. I saw Dave Matthews Band there a few weeks ago and was blown away by the whole place. The acoustics there are stunning and the view from the lawn is incredible. The X and Y tour is gonna kick ass.

SF1, you have no idea what youre talking about. Basically, if you knew anything about the game of ice hockey you'd understand why fighting needs to be in the game. TO KEEP STICKWORKERS IN CHECK. But you, of course, with your wealth of hockey knowledge should know that. However, I don't think you know what a stickworker is...
