Is it me or is Timo the slowest player on the sox excluding PK and the catchers and pitchers??? Especially to be leading off for a team so adamant with manufacturing runs.

Oh god, I just remembered another one. My hockey team was in Pekin, IL this past february and playing hard with a team who was a little better than us. It was 1-1 in the second period and in a span of 3 minutes I gave up two goals... FROM THE REDLINE!!!! My confidence for the game was shot and we lost 6-1, It was so sad that we actually watched it at a team banquet last weekend and everyone was making jokes about that to me.

Anyone just hear DJ??? Hawk: When youre due, youre due, and the Sox are due against Betancourt. DJ: So let's doo-doo on him. followed by 30 seconds of silence... That has to be some of the worst color commentary by DJ in a long, long time. And thats passing up alot of dumbass remarks.

One I can remember is in last year's High School Hockey state tournament. WE were playing way up north in the Gurnee Mills rink. I'm the goalie for my team and a player from the opposing team had a breakaway and instead of shooting decided to run me over and let the puck roll in. As a level 3 hockey official I protested that the goal be disallowed because it should be goaltender interference. Except I said it along the lines of, "Thats f***ing bulls*** you northside homer that should be washed out and he should get a penalty." Needless to say I got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and they scored on the power play. We lost 2-1.

eeew Tim McCarver sucks... and Bob Uecker isnt even top ten, oh well, thats the writer's opinion.
