It didn't matter what WSCR offered Rooney, he was desperate to go to St. Louis, just like Mark Buehrle. (Hopefully I was accurate to put that in green). But yeah, Farmer basically sold out Rooney and took the cheap-o deal so he can do the pbp all 9 innings, or that's surely what it looks like from a distance.

I like BA and all, but he shouldn't let his mother cut his hair anymore. Go back to the longer locks man.

Leinart is the lefty Ken Dorsey, although obviously he wil be drafted MUCH higher. He's just a puss arm who threw jump balls and let GREAT players do the dirty work. I feel bad for whoever gets him. Also, the "Vince Young can't throw" myth is really funny. He has a hitch in his motion (which could be an issue) but his passing numbers, in particular last year, speak for themself.

All they need is a medical expert to confirm their view & their are plenty available to do that. There is nothing wrong with a company denying an applicant employment on the basis of BEHAVIOR they feel warrants a significant health or attendance risk. If they feel certain BEHAVIORs will affect productivity then they have every right to deny an applicant work on that basis. All that should be required legally is for the employer to present a medical expert in good standing with the state as evidence in support of their claim. Although I find your parental actions to be a bit curious, I must say this is very well said and I agree.

As good as Ager and Brown are, they could be so much better if they didn't fall so in love with the long ball sometimes. He's a drunk and a goof, but he's also 100 percent right...especially about Bonds and Armstong. Everybody knows those 2 cheat, but it's nice to hear a pro athlete say it. The only difference between Bonds and Armstrong is nobody says it about Armstrong since apparently you become immortal if you survive cancer. I admire Lance for beating cancer, but he's still a scumbag cheat with just as many tainted records as Bonds.
