The show is going to feel rushed because there are budget constraints and they're running out of time. I'm sure everyone involved is ready to move on with their lives and start new projects. They've been working on this for damn near a decade. I'm actually glad they didn't shoe another run of the mill battle scene is this episode. I thought the narration was really well done. It felt more cinematic than typical TV.

I thought that episode was absolutely epic. Episode 2 was one of the worst ever though.

I liked it then and still like it now.

I'd rather watch all these prospects fail than watch them try to piece a team together and remain mediocre forever. The Southside of Chicago isn't an attractive place to play baseball. The Sox have to take more risks than the Cubs. It's just the way it is.
