weird game at the Dome tonight. The Twins has been without a DH since the 9th inning. now Bobby Korecky (who came in in a bases loaded, one out situation and got them out) is now batting

Last week at this time, a lot of people were praising the Twins. Since the, they were swept by Toronto at home, and lost 2 of 3 in Colorado. Thier defense has been terrible at best and the relief pitching has been terrible. Yesterday, the Twins had 6 hits, all of them extra bases. 2 lead off doubles and a lead off triple, and they managed only 2 runs. Terrible.

Even with the 3 home runs tonight, the twins have only 20 on the year. They have given up something like 41 or 42. They are dead last in walks. They thing that has held them together is solid pitching (what else is new) but at some point Livan Hernandez is going to suck, and the loss of Neshek out of the bullpen are going to catch up Im saying this as a Twins fan. Hey its nice to be on top. But I still only see 82-83 wins this year. Just not enough offense

I guess he is all right. From report I heard on the radio during the game, the ball hit him in the helmet, but his head also hit the knee of the player covering second base. I hope he isn't hurt so he has to sit out the weekend. Im going to the game on Sunday and want to see how fast he is in real life!

if you factor in the Twins offense last year, that could be a reason its a great pitchers park

I think its situations where Morneau is DH, Mauer at 1B and Redmond at C. There is no real backup for Mauer. last year, it was Jeff Cirillo, and a collage of minor league stiffs

I dont think Cuddyer wants to move back to third. From what I remember, the idea was toyed with last year (along with playing Mauer at 1B for a few games) but was shot down This year, you might see Mauer at 1b for a few games. I guess he is going to put in some work at spring training for that scenerio

The most logical thing is to have Delmon in RF, Cuddy in LF, this Pridie guy that we got in the Delmon trade in CF and Kubel/Monroe platoon DH. Then again, in the Johan proposed trades, they might get a CFer so I think right now, its just guesswork. I think the Cuddy in CF thing was just Gardenhire throwing things out there.

for once, the Twins spend some money! and keep my favorite player, Michael Cuddyer, for 3 possiblly 4 years! wee!
