  1. CBS lead fantasy baseball guy with some nice thoughts on Yoan today: https://twitter.com/CTowersCBS nothing we haven't covered, but the dude is a solid regular sporting a 35% K rate. The sky is the limit for him.
  2. QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 18, 2018 -> 05:33 PM) I know Houston is coming to town, but I really hope this is the start of at least a 3 game win streak. They need to win a bit right now and remember what it feels like. Especially at home. houston has been scuffling a little, might not be a bad time to play them.
  3. hey look it's the other team's turn to pull the IF in down 4 runs in the early innings. just bad managing. let the run score, get the out. so what you're down 5 instead of 4 in the 4th.
  4. why don't they give Hector a shot at starting? He can't possibly be any worse than Migo could he?
  5. TA and Moncada are making this game fun.
  6. well ricky has certainly seen enough. I appreciate that from him. This club needs a win.
  7. this team just can't stand prosperity.
  8. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 18, 2018 -> 04:34 PM) not saying he won’t ever be, but fulmer isn’t an mlb starter right now. No reason not to be patient - but theres a lot of guys who are going to be knocking on the door by next spring. there's a difference being "effectively wild" when you have ReyLo's stuff and when you have Fulmer's stuff. Fulmer's stuff will hopefully play up out of the pen because that's his long term home. For now yea give him every chance to start but it's not looking good long term.
  9. Fulmer just doesn't know where the ball is going.
  10. it's about f***ing time a mediocre pitcher got lit up by the Sox. Good job boys.
  11. Moncada is now on pace for like 7 fWAR.
  12. hard to hit when your head moves a foot vertically every swing.
  13. TA looks like a completely different guy with RISP this year. He's so much more patient.
  14. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Apr 18, 2018 -> 04:11 PM) I agree...the AL West top to bottom is solid. The AL Central.....ehhh not so much. the mariners are looking really good early. if leake and felix are legit 110 ERA+ types this year and stay healthy their rotation isn't a weakness it's a strength. long way to go though.
  15. Matt Chapman is a really good young player. 25th overall pick in the Rodon draft.
  16. Fulmer's stuff does not seem to generate a lot of swings and misses.
  17. well he saved a run at least, still, I thought he had him.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 18, 2018 -> 04:02 PM) Christopher Kamka? @ckamka 11m11 minutes ago #WhiteSox 15 for 17 (88.2%) in stolen bases this season. Not leading the league (Angels & Twins both 8 for 8), but really good. it's been one of the few positives so far, no doubt.
