it's been 15 games. people need to really stop over reacting to small sample sizes and confirmation bias. Same with the Sheets reactions.

I don't think he's had much if any athleticism sapped, he looked plenty alive on the basepaths in Boston. I just think he hasn't put the time in to recognize how he's being attacked and what adjustments he needs. He just doesn't seem like a guy that wants to work on stuff outside the gym.

I think if he plays 140 games and hits the 300/370/440 it would take to put up 5.5 bWAR you can hand him the trophy. But if we're in fantasy land, lets go for 330/400/500 and 8 bWAR. That would really seal it.

We should be in no rush here anyways. Wait until mid summer.

Michael is a fail son with an undergrad degree from ASU and is in his late 30s or early 40s at this point. He's done nothing since taking over the Bulls and cemented them as one of the worst situations in all of the NBA before somehow stumbling into Matas and Giddey. Keep him away from the Sox, one Reinsdorf is enough and hopefully Ishbia cleans house from top to bottom when he takes over.

I see this as neutral to positive reporting. But all the holes in the swiss cheese have to lineup to get JR out anytime soon.

I just think it's a little over the top to focus on a single data point or a few when the overwhelming evidence is that Getz is not good at his job. Maybe he'll improve, maybe he won't, but at this point in time I think it's a STRETCH STRETCH GET ON BACK THERE to say the org is pointed in the right direction overall.

9.7, 7.5, 11.2, 16.6, 13.4. Funny thing is he's tried to fix his LA problem but it doesn't really matter as he's just not powerful enough. Looking at his HR/FB% this is a guy that just doesn't have enough raw power to make it work. Other than this year, his expected wOBAs are about in line with his actual. He's a mediocre hitter playing a bad 1B from the wrong side of a platoon. There's just not much there. He'd have to significantly improve his hitting just to become a league average 1B. Not happening.

None of it matters because he has a LA of 14.5. He kills a lot of worms and hits a lot of line drives at well positioned fielders tho.
