  1. that's the one thing I'd hammer him on. If a reliever is pitching well, just leave them in man.
  2. that's what I'm saying. He doesn't have the plate coverage to just run into a lot of hits so he really needs to look to pull everything. And he doesn't have enough power or LA to make pulling everything a good hitter profile.
  3. Vaughn at best tops out as a 770 OPS guy. He just doesn't have a lot of ways he can beat you. Not enough plate coverage, not enough raw power or batting eye to be anything more than average, at best up there. Why are we so fucking bad at Manfred ball bro?
  4. Yea reality has set in. Nice back up catcher. Helluva arm. Him and Quero should be a pretty fun duo next year.
  5. I like how he's all over Moldy for heating up. Bro he heating up to the tune of a 400 OPS. I recently watched a lot of Matas Buzelis tape and guess who the clown is on a lot of G League Ignite games? John. He's bad on hoops too. He's like a generic announcer you get from a bootleg video game when they couldn't afford the John Madden license.
  6. Trade with Dombo. Dude is not afraid to trade blue chippers to get his guy. Gotta respect it. Wish he was our GM.
  7. I'm actively shopping my moldy 2nd refrigerator with a busted door.
  8. This is the type of prospect the white sox have needed since the early aughts. We used to love trying out these types and although it hardly ever hit (Frank the one big exception and I guess TA for a minute, edit: also, Robert, who of course was a big KW scouting win) they do occasionally turn into superstars. If we had acquired him via some trade as a Tatis Jr like WC and he was doing this everybody would be going gaga. He's a nice prospect, probably will move into some offseason top 100 lists, no reason to really say much more or less at this time.
  9. Hope Michael saved whatever money he's made. He's going to have a hard time dating even the C listers on a KBO salary.
  10. well this thread is a bundle of joy.
  11. Obviously I'm not saying he's Aaron Judge but the build and ability to whip the bat through the zone at that size is similar. Usually big guys like that just run into a bunch and only a few really develop into elite game power guys. Well, here's hoping.
  12. Sir, this is a White Sox.
  13. Well someone else can take the duties tmr. Another very White Sox loss.
  14. it's pathetic how often we just stop scoring and our bullpen blows it. if we had a habit of scoring more often maybe we could take some pressure off these guys, not that they are that good.
  15. I'll go to Siesta key with a frisbee, a joint and a cooler full of modello. If I'm feeling super frisky maybe I'll take a gram of shrooms and do some summersaults in the water.
  16. I can't tell if John is really partying in Miami or if he's just that big of a square he thinks he needs to mention how Miami is a party town constantly.
  17. Also gotta love having Sheets not in the IL and incapable apparently of doing anything other than DH. If it's one thing we really need, it's another DH type.
  18. What does Beni have to do to get benched? Does this bread dead club think he's going to get hot and get flipped? Come the hell on. Just eat the money and get someone in there that might contribute in the future.
  19. Sox certainly playing better baseball than Miami at the moment. Might this be the only road series sweep of the season? Will need to start with another win today.
  20. You can put it on the board, yeeeas! History! Nice start for Thorpe. 5K 2BB, lots of weak contact. He's holding his own. I think he pencils in as a solid back of the rotation 4/5 at worst, barring injury of course. Nice to see him touching 93 and with pretty good command to add to his changeup.
