Zero chance this kid is called up. Fun story, but he's at least another 300 PA away in the high minors. If he continues to rake you bring him into spring training to get a better look at his everyday catching and go from there. I'd imagine Lee is the call for now, maybe we make a trade at the deadline depending on what's up with Teal. Best case I think it's probably a bad ankle sprain so 6-8 weeks. He'd be back for the playoff push but yea. Teal's season reminds me a bit of the Rose year he tore his ACL. We didn't have a lockout compressed schedule this season but like Rose Teal had a series of minor injuries in season and it just felt off the entire way. Hopefully Teal avoided a season ender.

This was a big debate my freshman year in the dorms. I've always said when you find a song, just play it non stop until you're sick of it. There's no reason not to.

The AL is setup for an insane finish. Yankees and Rays might be in trouble. Rays have been playing over their heads all season until now and Yankees without Judge are a solid but not elite team.

Braden's statcast ticking up a bit. The scouting reports are playing out. Hits too many ground balls, doesn't make consistent contact, but athletic and can provide value in other ways then just the bat. He's still got a ways to go as a hitter but it's nice to see a relatively high floor. He's been solid out in RF a couple mistakes aside. I thought that ball in the 9th yesterday might have gotten down with a less athletic player out there. He got a great jump on it, took a bit of a looping route, but made the play.

Just put some easy rules in for the batters. Catchers should use their discretion but for batters you can only challenge with runners on in a potential K situation before the 5th inning. After the 5th you can challenge whenever. Like we can't have Mune challenging relatively meaningless counts in the first inning, same with the rest of the guys, but he's really prone to it.

Was thinking yesterday that the pitching is going to be Fedde, Noah, Kay against Degrom and whoever. Not exactly how you want to line up in an important road series. We have a better lineup, but this is going to be a tough ask. I'd settle for 1 of 3 and a .500 road trip.

two biggest plays of game were Colson's HR and then Grickuk takes that possible triple away. he misses that it might be a LL HR. Kudos to Braden too for his key hits and solid defending. Obviously Burke dominated. Not sure how he throws so many strikes, but it's working.

oppo field approach works well with him with RISP when the pitcher is struggling to find the zone. need to inject some of that into meidroth.
