We just had 3 100 loss seasons, it's a bit rich to be lecturing the fans for critiquing what are objectively bad moves so far. If we don't win the division, it's probably because we punted a half dozen Castillo starts.

Not sure arguing with the fans is the best approach for Fegan, but whatever. Doyle does not seem like a very good addition, same with castillo, getz has made a lot of great moves, but nobody is perfect.

I think 38K is the sweet spot for a new stadium. Nobody really needs to be 400 feet from home plate and up 100 feet in the air.

He made two plays in the twins finale that I'd say were 20% or less to be made, he's really impressing and finishing strong. Even if he's just a 700 OPS guy with his glove he's a 3 WAR player.

Julio Rodriguez has a 597 OPS in the 2nd half and negative fWAR. He has 2.1 fWAR for the season and a wRC+ of 100. He's older than Chase and Colson and about a year younger than Vargas and Mune. He should be in his prime as a superstar but he's turned into about an average regular. Some parallels with Robert, he just cannot lay off sliders outside. Julio is much more talented and stays relatively healthy, but sometimes guys just never improve their faults and the league gets wise.

Burke, Martin, Kay, Fedde and Sandlin/Castillo should be the rotation rest of the way. I'd even go as far as saying Castillo should just be the mop up guy.

Have they gone cashless yet? I've found that speeds things up. In general outside the long term employees a lot of these are just summer gigs so I get not exactly being thrilled to show up to the park as a burger flipper.

They don't but at this point with like 18 games left they've pretty much merged on the math. They use different projection systems. I don't know where ESPN gets their data for their WAR or for their projections but it's not FG.

Think the highest we had was last week at 9 over at 90.2 on ESPN and 90% on FG. So losing those 3-4 in Houston didn't hurt us much. Really we should have swept the Twins with any situational hitting or pitching in game 2 of that series but water under bridge now. I think 85 wins will take division. We basically just need to play .500 and not s%*# the bed in the Tribe series.

Reminds me quite a bit of our failed core. A bunch of guys that are just 2 WAR players at best when healthy. We had a lot more pitching at our peak but still.

Kinda insane to think without those four come from behind wins after the 7th the guardians would be pretty much dead and buried in the division. They figured out a way to win those games but damn.
