  1. Sure but if everyone is healthy its between VV and Dallas for 5 spot.
  2. Bury those clowns. Fuck boston.
  3. Bullpen is pretty whipped I wouldn't hate it.
  4. adds up to .500 I guess is the best way to put it. given the injuries ok fine but pick it the fuck up offense.
  5. Speak to the greatness of both to be the conversation. Frank was the greatest hitter I think any of us 32 and older or so have ever seen. Robert is the most naturally gifted all around athlete us same folks have seen on the South Side. Watching Frank work a count, even against a good pitcher and then lace a (what was probably) an 110mph double off the bat into the power alley in his prime was so fun. And so is watching Robert's athletic gifts translating all over the field.
  6. Games are won in three places: on the field, on the practice field, and on the message boards. Right now, you're carrying your water and then some -- keep up the good work.
  7. My post in the other thread is that pitching looks like it will carry this club to at least 80 wins. Depending on how the offense does it might win anywhere from 85 to 95 I'd guess. Assuming no more bad injuries and the guys out come back strong. If not who knows. Just stay healthy FFS.
  8. I haven't seen a bat that slow since the last year of Konerko.
  9. this lineup is dog shit. look at the slash lines, holy shit.
  10. looking like the inseam on my jeans after two years of COVID.
  11. Good lord get Moncada up here he had pretty much all of spring, granted it was abbreviated. Would have been nice to see him in Boston today available to PH at least.
  12. He's around the plate and for the most part makes guys earn their way. Doesn't have many non competitive pitches or at bats. His stuff is fine for a 5th starter imo or even 4th as long as his control is there. He has a little Lance Lynn in him in that he'd rather throw a spinner down Broadway then fall behind and walk guys. I appreciate that style of pitching. That said it's relative. He's fine as the 5th starter anything more is asking too much. He's ahead of Dallas for sure but ideally he's 5th guy rest of the way when staff is healthy.
  13. No it's totally true. All of my millennial friends said basically the same thing during march madness ages ranging from 32-38.
  14. TLR looking out on the field like he dropped his Jitterbug.
