  1. Good lord he's got nothing again. He has no idea where the ball is going coming out of his hand.
  2. Gio sitting at 91 and not even close with his location again.
  3. Nice to see you rock. And I"ll just get my positions on PEDs out of the way: Don't really care. Science is pretty amazing and a lot of the shit that is banned probably shouldn't be. HGH for example. Yea ban the crazy amount of T that Bonds was on but overall some of these methods, especially for staying healthy during the season, should be legal imo. That all said, it sucks from the Sox' perspective. Robs them of a good trade opportunity.
  4. Watching Tim and Yoan run off having fun right there hit me right in the feels. Hope to see a lot more of that.
  5. Sorry if I was unclear -- what I was meant to say is that he probably dropped the suspension. Just like Cano did. Although in Cano's case it corresponded to his DL time. There's too much BS surrounding the testing in MLB imo. These leaks are not good for anybody. If Wellington is being suspending tmr it's not a great look for the news to break from some Dominican reporter (kudos to him) and not from MLB or the Sox themselves -- while Wellington is playing mind you. If a guy tests and appeals (not saying this is necessarily the case here) then there should be an announcement. Not this hush hush shit until he drops it.
  6. The policy reflects the new testing agreement in the CBA -- marijuana is exempt. Everything else is a no go.
  7. They can, but given that the announcement was that his suspension is starting tmr and that it's not for a steroid --- I'm guessing it's a similar situation to Cano's. I bet his agent informed this guy to soften the blow. Probably got popped with a diuretic.
  8. Bruh I'm on two surgically repaired patella tendons. I'm damaged goods man. Also I throw left handed.
  9. Seems like the reporter might have jumped the gun, according to this tweet.
  10. Castillo is so much better with the staff than Smith and Narvaez. He frames better and calls, at least to my eye, a better game. Would be a blow to lose him for those reasons.
  11. Nice. In every OOTP game I started last year Rodon turned into a pumpkin. Moncada almost always panned out into a stud though. Didn't pick up this year's version, maybe when it goes on down to $19. Just updated rosters really.
  12. I agree but I think people use the terms interchangeably. Yolmer would be a "super utility guy" :-)
  13. I mean Tony Phillips was a "utility guy" but was also a solid starter for most of his career. I think like "TOR Starter" or "Ace" it's just semantics. It can mean a solid regular that can play all over or it can mean a backup that can play all over.
  14. That sucks. Was really looking forward to flipping him for a prospect.
