  1. moncada is going to have to start swinging earlier in the count the scouting report on him is obviously start him with strikes because he's not swinging. he's 0-2 almost every AB.
  2. great frame from narvaez. lol nice interjection jason...
  3. QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:58 PM) Yeah I don't think it is sustainable either, but I don't think it would be unreasonable for them to finish in the top 6 or 7 in the American league in offensive numbers. I think they could score 800 runs this year. Might give up 850 though.
  4. QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:56 PM) The White Sox currently lead all of baseball in OPS...by 29 points (According to MLB.com). 1=Sox at .898 2=ATL (wow) at .857 And this is after a week of baseball. Sustainable? Not sustainable but it sure is a nice change from corpseball.
  5. how long did it take TA to get three walks last year? couple months?
  6. This is a fun club, hope the fans come out for them this summer.
  7. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:43 PM) You mean all 2 of them? I guess my question was more why are they pitching to so many righties.
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:33 PM) Why does Farquhar pitch every game? not sure but he did a good job today and yesterday.
  9. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:12 PM) Aren’t they off tomorrow? another off day? Jeeze, really?
  10. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:09 PM) It seems like that is exactly what they are doing. Yes they are. But they should have the tarp on the field ASAP if they want any chance of playing the next two days.
  11. this is absurd, just call the game. you can't play baseball in this s***.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 05:47 PM) Clueless vs breaking pitches I don't think he likes the cold.
  13. Man I'm glad I'm not a Tigers fan. That Cabrera contract is going to be brutal. It already is. I think he's pretty much done as a star. Could pump out a couple more 2-3 WAR seasons maybe.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 03:48 PM) I mostly love how he is so good at picking it in a place that he can get a good throw off. He doesn't have a rocket arm but it plays well even at 3b because he is always in position to get it out. He has the fundamentals down absolutely pat. I wish TA would field more like Yolmer. You never, ever see Yolmer off balance or trying to round off a ball. He is always fielding the ball right under the bill of his cap, in a straight line from his nose to his belly button to his butt to his knees. Exactly how they draw it up in infield drills for the kids.
  15. I could watch Yolmer pick baseballs out of the dirt all day long. He has the best hands I've seen on a Sox middle infielder. Better than Alexei even. I guess Crede would compare.
