  1. No you won’t, just like everyone else saying that. If they tried to do right by Fields at the expense of the team, they should all be fired and no team should give them a second chance.
  2. Everyone besides a decent percent of Bears fans did. I think very little of him as a QB, and this is embarrassing.
  3. The f***? Very glad I don’t know any details about that.
  4. I’m sure he meant in terms of a professional athlete that is doing his job well, not infidelity in general.
  5. Heaven help me, I think I understood a Caulfield joke. He’s making a comment on the misspelling of Hahn as Hanh, which is more Vietnamese looking (as in Banh Mi).
  6. Oh, I don’t think I was around then. But I can see the similarities without having ever read it haha.
  7. I’m not sure they’ll crack 60 wins though. I’m actually not sure what you’re referring to ? Which?
  8. So a 4-month-old thread with close to 400 pages of discussion and anticipation ends with an underwhelming, if not so-so, trade. Ah, is there anything more appropriate for the Sox?
  9. Have you heard our Vice President speak? Sorry to bring politics into the conversation, but I think we can all agree that she wins the nonsensical word salad Olympics.
  10. I understand where you’re coming from. Poles may decide to hold onto him if other teams are offering embarrassingly low returns.
  11. At whose feet does that fall, though? I would have to say JR, as he is responsible for TLR and Grifol.
  12. Out of curiosity, who or what do you blame for the toxic situation?
  13. Gave up Twitter for lent. Can someone let me know what this is about?
  14. I’m positive that they can trade him. But I’d temper your expectations on the return at this point.
  15. People seriously wanted to stick with Fields at QB, and here we are with seemingly no teams willing to give up anything of value for him. That’s about right with the Bears. And the McCaskeys are cheaping out on their planned stadium? I’m sure we’re all shocked.
  16. Then you won’t be optimistic very long.
  17. It’s not who earns a spot in spring training, it’s who we’ve already decided will be on the roster. That’s basically what he’s saying. The guy can’t stop tripping himself up.
  18. I shouldn’t be one to talk. I’ll probably still make it to my recent average of 2-3 games a year despite my disgust. Although I’ll mostly just be eating and drinking while paying little to no attention to the game.
  19. Some are exactly that stupid. Some meathead fan called into the Score yesterday to complain that people are crapping on the Sox. He then proceeded to list all of the terrible players that will help the team this year. They only need to fool enough people to get a decent amount to show up at the games and/or buy season packages.
  20. I would enjoy someone simply getting on base fairly regularly and then maybe a quick wave to the stands or putting their head down and acting like they’ve been there before. Unfortunately a lot of these guys really haven’t been there (on base) much before.
  21. Completely agree with you, especially at the end. And I think I phrased it poorly. I was talking more about the analysts and reporters that get interviewed by the hosts, not the hosts themselves. I know it’s them trying to play it safe, but screw that. I want to hear your opinion on it, not a non-answer.
  22. I hate that no professional commentator on any show (that I’ve heard) has said the Bears should move on from Fields when they’ve been asked directly. They all give evasive answers and say something like “we don’t know how it is inside the locker room” or something similar. Just say yes. One person just have the balls to say it when everyone knows they’re drafting a quarterback anyway.
