They wouldn't have sent him, as Cuddyer wouldn't have moved into 3rd base on Anderson, as he did with Griffey. And I completely agree with IlliniKrush.

I hate Vazquez more than anyone on this site, and he IS undeniably a terrible big-game pitcher, but this move sort of has to be made. The 2004 playoffs really stick in my head, though.

I want to congratulate Ozzie on a very well managed game.

Oh man, I'm shaking! Danks (our ace, as I've said), Jenks, AJ, Thome, Griffey, and Anderon. I love seeing Thome and Griffey step up to get themselves into the playoffs maybe one last time.

I somehow now have confidence that we'll beat the Twins, and quite possibly take the first series of the playoffs against the Rays.
