Also, why didn't the match end in a draw? They went into the final hole tied, the doctor missed his first putt and made the second, and then the judge hit his first shot. Chevy then missed his first shot and sunk the second, and the kid made his first shot.

So I'm watching Caddyshack for the first time, straight through, since I was a kid. And I must say, this movie isn't very funny.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ May 21, 2008 -> 07:36 PM) Because he isn't jacked he isn't a top contender? Sort of, but I think it has more to do with his drastic weight loss.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 20, 2008 -> 11:21 AM) What the hell? Am I the only one that would learn their lesson after their first suspension? Jeez! Well, you know who clearly learned his lesson after his suspension? Kennedy. He looks like a lightweight now, and I can't even buy him anymore as a legitimate top contender for the heavyweight title.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ May 20, 2008 -> 11:09 AM) So Teddy Long or Dibiase? I thought it was pretty obvious that it would be Long. Teddy Long bores me and I really couldn't care less to see him as GM, but I'd sacrifice losing Regal as GM any day to get DiBiase on air each week.

QUOTE (The Critic @ May 19, 2008 -> 01:13 PM) I will absolutely purchase this DVD set: -- WWE is putting together a DVD on Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig entitled The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect. They are currently interviewing people for the project. The two-disc set is scheduled to be released on September 9, 2008. I hope they include a TON of those "Absolutely Perfect" promos! Although I already knew they were making one for him, I'm glad to have a date for it. As you guys may assume, I'm pretty excited.

And now I realize that this game isn't on the Extra Innings package. Now I have no better choice than to spend time with the woman...

New Television season
QUOTE (Brian @ May 16, 2008 -> 08:10 PM) Yup. Episodes will air on Direct TV first than air on NBC in the fall. I still think last season was good before being cut short despite some people thinking the story lines were outrageous. Yeah, but then again, you suck and nobody likes you.

People better be in chat because I'm going to be loaded by the time the game starts.

who wants to sponsor Roger Clemens' B-R page?
I echo knightni's sentiments. Only? That hardly seems like something I'd like to throw money at...I'll stick to strippers.

I notice that people have already been suspended from the game threads. I guess this thread's purpose has been fulfilled, eh? Nobody will admit it, but that's the reason this thread was started.

I have never liked Punk's music. I also really don't like the Big Show's new song, but that's mostly because I really liked his last one more. There's probably more, but I can't think right now.

Late Night Shake-Up
Jimmy Fallon sucks, so his show will definitely suck.

David Sunflower Seeds Deal
I would buy this, if I didn't already have a half-full tub of these seeds.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 12, 2008 -> 08:45 AM) Anyone else not get their payment when they were supposed to? I was in the first bracket, and I had my taxes directly deposited. It was some time near the beginning or middle of March, I believe. I thought I would get it on May 2 in my account, but it didn't come. I checked the IRS site and called their number, and entering my information told me the same thing on both sites, that my check would be mailed on May 5. I just got my check in the mail today. Perhaps yours will come soon.

2008 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 10, 2008 -> 01:58 AM) Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton are glorious. I've been watching them since 2003 though, I got into them a bit that year with Cabrera and Willis, of course they did their thing against the Cubs, and I have friends down there so I've followed them for a while now. They used to have Kasper before he went to the Cubs and he and Hutton were great too doing the games. They entered this year with a payroll of 24 million, less than A-Rod makes by himself this season. I'm not sure how that's affected with today's news, but they locked up baseball's best all around player, Hanley Ramirez, for 6 years and 72 million and he'll be on the team when their new stadium opens in 2011. So yeah, love the fighting fish. Btw, off topic, but are closers blowing more games than usual so far this year? Sure as hell seems like it, this is me calling for help. I know you'll see this post Kalapse, can you find out if closers are struggling more than usual this year ie blown saves around baseball? I love this. Every year, there's a new "best all around player" in baseball. People f***ing love jumping on random players' bandwagons. He's had a couple good years. Let's wait and see before we annoint him as the best player. Hell, just look at Hafner and Howard. They each put together some good years, people start calling them (some of) the best offensive players in the game, and now people can't distance themselves enough from either.

I just got done cleaning my room very thoroughly. The part that took the longest was taking out all of the keys on my keyboard, and cleaning the whole thing out. It's the first time I ever cleaned it, and I've had it over 4 years now. I'm sure there are plenty of jokes about what could've been in there, but it was freaking dirty.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 5, 2008 -> 08:11 PM) Coach was bad when they first hired him, but when they turned him heel, I kind of liked some of the stuff he did. I remember him selling the green mist from Tajiri in a backstage segment and laughing my ass off. Than they put him on SD and he was awful. On another point, Coach has an enormous head. I remember when he was standing next to Vince once, his melon was probably twice the size of McMahon's.
