Stuff That Has Been Beat Into The Ground
Milkman delivers replied to Texsox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I notice that people have already been suspended from the game threads. I guess this thread's purpose has been fulfilled, eh? Nobody will admit it, but that's the reason this thread was started. -

Don't know if it's been said yet, but my answer is threads like these. -

I have never liked Punk's music. I also really don't like the Big Show's new song, but that's mostly because I really liked his last one more. There's probably more, but I can't think right now. -
Jimmy Fallon sucks, so his show will definitely suck.

I would buy this, if I didn't already have a half-full tub of these seeds.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 12, 2008 -> 08:45 AM) Anyone else not get their payment when they were supposed to? I was in the first bracket, and I had my taxes directly deposited. It was some time near the beginning or middle of March, I believe. I thought I would get it on May 2 in my account, but it didn't come. I checked the IRS site and called their number, and entering my information told me the same thing on both sites, that my check would be mailed on May 5. I just got my check in the mail today. Perhaps yours will come soon.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 10, 2008 -> 01:58 AM) Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton are glorious. I've been watching them since 2003 though, I got into them a bit that year with Cabrera and Willis, of course they did their thing against the Cubs, and I have friends down there so I've followed them for a while now. They used to have Kasper before he went to the Cubs and he and Hutton were great too doing the games. They entered this year with a payroll of 24 million, less than A-Rod makes by himself this season. I'm not sure how that's affected with today's news, but they locked up baseball's best all around player, Hanley Ramirez, for 6 years and 72 million and he'll be on the team when their new stadium opens in 2011. So yeah, love the fighting fish. Btw, off topic, but are closers blowing more games than usual so far this year? Sure as hell seems like it, this is me calling for help. I know you'll see this post Kalapse, can you find out if closers are struggling more than usual this year ie blown saves around baseball? I love this. Every year, there's a new "best all around player" in baseball. People f***ing love jumping on random players' bandwagons. He's had a couple good years. Let's wait and see before we annoint him as the best player. Hell, just look at Hafner and Howard. They each put together some good years, people start calling them (some of) the best offensive players in the game, and now people can't distance themselves enough from either.

A douche like that is going to get raped the f*** out of in jail. That's the best way I can put it. -
I just got done cleaning my room very thoroughly. The part that took the longest was taking out all of the keys on my keyboard, and cleaning the whole thing out. It's the first time I ever cleaned it, and I've had it over 4 years now. I'm sure there are plenty of jokes about what could've been in there, but it was freaking dirty.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 5, 2008 -> 08:11 PM) Coach was bad when they first hired him, but when they turned him heel, I kind of liked some of the stuff he did. I remember him selling the green mist from Tajiri in a backstage segment and laughing my ass off. Than they put him on SD and he was awful. On another point, Coach has an enormous head. I remember when he was standing next to Vince once, his melon was probably twice the size of McMahon's. -

QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2008 -> 07:13 PM) Finally saw "Cloverfield". Very disappointed in it, had much higher expectations. I was very surprised by how much I liked "Alvin and the Chipmunks". Fathom, if I didn't like you, I'd question your manhood right now. But, I'll add that Cloverfield was probably a movie you'd have to see at a theater to fully enjoy it.

QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 09:33 PM) I won't get into an argument about whether or not someone knows more about wrestling than I do. That's an argument that is not worth having. I would claim that I am sure I know more about wrestling than plenty of people, too, and leave it at that. Sure, you probably know more than plenty of people, but those aren't the people posting in this thread. -

QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 08:38 PM) I've been watching wrestling since 1997, thanks. And it is chic to rip Hunter on the Internet. Instead of there being this mini-controversy because I argue that Hunter is about as great as Flair, there should be a controversy over people saying he isn't. HHH didn't get to be where he is by screwing the boss' daughter -- he's gotten to where he is by being a great wrestler, overall. Sure, there are politics, but it's hilarious to hear people rip his politics while arguing that Flair's are better. Like Flair never played politics. Well, he started his politics by getting in with the established stars, but he has most of it by screwing the boss' daughter. You'll get no support from the people in this thread in saying that HHH is just as good as Flair, and I guarantee you there's quite a few people here that know more about wrestling than you do. -

QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 08:56 PM) I don't put my whole heart into the proclamation, but I stand by the assertion that HHH is a great professional wrestler in the same mold as Ric Flair. I know it's chic to tear him apart as a man who has only gotten where he is because of politics but I don't think that's true. Chic? How long have you even been watching wrestling? -
Wow, I don't think I've ever actually seen this happen, where the two teams will start at a later date and (possibly) only play one inning for an official game. EDIT: I've heard of it, though.
