QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 2, 2012 -> 03:29 PM) My buddy Kyle just spur-of-the-moment bought a black lab/boxer mix puppy. He is only like 6 weeks old right now. Very tiny little guy. My roommate is dating him, so Kyle often brings little Duke over to hang out. He loves to bite and sleep, that's about it. When he is tired he will cuddle, but he seems kind of like a loner dog. He often hides when he is tired, or lays in tight spaces. He will climb up on the couch and try and wedge himself between the back of the couch and the cushion. It's kind of weird. We looked up pictures of lab/boxer mixes, and this guy looks like he will be very intimidating when he is fully grown. Real badass and scary looking. This is what he looks like now though..... I wouldnt worry about that. If he is 6 weeks, he is probably just having some seperation anxiety, he is used to be jammed in with a litter of puppies.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 3, 2012 -> 03:16 PM) If by "mile away" you mean a popup like 200 feet away, then yeah, a mile. He hit it a mile high. Sorry Joe, sometimes mistypes happen. Like when nicknames like "hotfire" come off keyboards

QUOTE (iamshack @ May 3, 2012 -> 01:34 PM) You can make up for it by getting your wife in a bikini... or, out of it

Adam Schefter is saying that Suggs thinks he will be back by October, per a "source" i will be extremely surpised if that is the case

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2012 -> 09:08 AM) Can I claim the "It's morning" excuse? Anyway, point to you, 30 demerits to me. LOL, sure you can. Anyways, Achilles is a brutal injury and recovery. Many times it snaps and balls up inside the calf and has to be extracted. I can only imagine how painful it must be for him. We may never see the same Suggs again. Offseason basketball, I wonder how the contract works with that....
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2012 -> 09:05 AM) Well, a "6-9 month recovery time" for an ACL tear was given as the number for another recent ACL tear, and that puts it right in the middle of the NFL season if it's at the short end...then depends on if you want to keep the guy having a roster spot for 8-12 games when he can't play. this isnt ACL balta. THis is achilles

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 3, 2012 -> 08:41 AM) That too. Strikes from the outfield to home. He gallops like a horse in the outfield, too. I've never seen a 19 year old who looks like this. Yes you have, you were young, but this was Griffey Jr. Deadspin has a funny video of Harper showing up at the washington monument the other day to take a few softball cuts. He whiffs on the first one, which is pretty funny, then he sends the next one a mile away

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 3, 2012 -> 08:58 AM) Ravens LB Terrell Suggs' 2012 season in doubt, tore his Achilles playing basketball I dont even think it is in doubt. He gawn

reading the trail of stories on deadspin about this girl and her boyfriend, smh. Even back to her days working at T Mobile, her and Prasad were scammers. It is pretty hilarious that ESPN got wrapped up in it and had no idea -
QUOTE (mcgrad70 @ May 2, 2012 -> 10:19 PM) And .500 at best is all that's Reinsdorf's offering with this sad sack More loud noises, fist shaking at owners.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 2, 2012 -> 09:32 PM) Can someone give a brief explanation that doesnt require me to read the original article which seemed unnecessarily hard to follow. Wait, did you just say it was hard for you to folllow something you were reading? -
I couldn't pass up sharing this story, it is so bold and crazy, I just wonder how far this girl could have gone without deadspin catching wind of it. www.deadspin.com/5906658/is-an-espn-columnist-scamming-people-on-the-internet

The Official Thread for Joe Cowley and his Agenda.
Kyyle23 replied to Jack Parkman's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 2, 2012 -> 04:29 PM) See, it depends if the poster had the wrestling persona all the time. Cowley as was stated by Telander thought his followers got it, got his persona. I think what happened is the right thing. They told him to cut it out. He killed his twitter account. It'll return and he'll post dull comments during games. His little twitter game is over. Ah, so the tenured writer backs up his coworker and it is ok. So again, if someone insults you among many other people on this site, and cites a wrestling "heel" persona as the reason, you are ok with that? -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 2, 2012 -> 02:22 PM) Interesting to note that Seau shot himself in the chest, not in the head, just like Dave Duerson didnt Duerson do that deliberately so that his brain could be examined? I thought I read that somewhere
-
QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2012 -> 01:28 PM) Weren't there rumors Seau tried to kill himself a few years ago as well? yeah, he drove his car off a cliff around the time he was arrested for domestic violence. He insisted he fell asleep behind the wheel
