  1. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:05 PM) Boston lays an egg. was hoping for a close game. The game just started, they are only down by 8 after 1 quarter
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 05:59 PM) What a monster that JoeCoolMan is... I don't believe in coincidences
  3. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 06:06 PM) You are assuming a lot here about the bar-room Ozzie. How the hell do you know he'd only want to talk about Ozzie. Somebody else said on here he's a great guy outside the lines. I choose Ozzie over Robin. Ozzie is Ozzie and I'd want to be around him in the bar.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 06:04 PM) How do you know Quinarvy isn't a 6 foot 5 300 pound professional weight lifter? Ozzie would eat his soul
  5. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 04:46 PM) I've ran in to him twice in my life. Once at a Sox ST game, and once at the Cubs game last month. So what you are saying here is that you caused his mild heart attack
  6. Suggs, you shouldn't lie about easily proven things espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8013339/terrell-suggs-baltimore-ravens-was-hurt-playing-basketball-witnesses-say
  7. Chris Sale eats pitching awards for breakfast. For lunch he has cuchumber sandwiches. For dinner, usually McDonalds.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:04 AM) Blue Jays have kicked the Sox butts the last few years. I hope they prove me wrong, but I'm expecting one painful loss this series. I know they have. But the last few seasons Ozzie openly conceded every game to the Twins as well. I'm not going to dwell on previous seasons, different results this season already. It is your prerogative, of course.
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:58 AM) I'm not expecting much from this series. Get a win, and sweep Houston and we'll call it a good week. "I don't expect much when I go out on a date. Maybe a few beers, a kick in the balls, I'm good with that" Set your sights higher my friend
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:53 AM) Would you say it's ferociously cute? Absolutely
  11. Cucumber sandwiches are ok.
  12. Trick question. The answer is Slayer, so I can get the castoffs
  13. Kyyle23 replied to Baron's topic in The Diamond Club
    QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 12:26 PM) Ben Badler ‏@BenBadler From a team reported to be in on Soler: "A lot of raw power…runs from breaking balls…flinches…runs around the OF like an 80-year-old man." Wasn't there some very similar disparaging things written about Alexei and Dayan before they were signed?
  14. San Antonio was in the bonus 1 minute and 40 seconds into the game.
  15. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 05:39 PM) This is why I hated Lebron going to Miami, you could see that it was going to kill Lebron's reputation unless they won a bunch of Championships. And this is also exactly when I don't feel bad for him when he is unfairly piled on and criticized. He brought this on himself. That said, he is an ultra-elite talent, there is nothing like him in the game.
  16. I have a feeling Vince is getting ready to start plucking some of the unhappy and buried talent from TNA and watch them go belly up under Bischoff and Hogan. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are both supposed to be on their way.
  17. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 05:00 PM) The Pistons weren't the 2012 Spurs. And how many times has he disappeared in the 4th quarter of important games? Not just had a bad game, but disappeared, refused to shoot the ball, refused to take big shots? How many times does he rely on chucking up 20 foot fall away jump shots that he misses more often than he makes. I said he was the best all around player in the game. I'd just take Durant at this point. He's stronger mentally, isn't a self-centered ass, and he's younger. Oh, and he can play basketball pretty good too. The pistons were pretty f***ing good back when Lebron did that.
  18. I am going to the Wednesday night game. Anyone else? PM me and maybe we can meet for a beer
  19. I do believe he said Cleves. Multiple times
  20. Kyyle23 replied to iamshack's topic in SLaM
    Joe, clearly you don't see the difference in doing the minimum to make your pet happy and doing the maximum. It has nothing to do with pets being needy, it has everything to do with having a healthy and happy pet. Your family very obviously does the minimum. So be it.
  21. Horrible defense by Daniels to allow Wade that open look, Boston is lucky to have this series tied.
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 3, 2012 -> 10:33 PM) That would be awful. Why not 8? Why not 10? 12? Its stupid. His reasoning is you always want to the best against the best. Well, sometimes the best foul out, but most of the time they don't. As noted, that was the first time Lebron has fouled out as a member of the Heat.
  23. JVG has always been a proponent of each player getting 7 fouls. Hmmmmmm
  24. Pietrus has been really stupid in the 4th quarter. Really bad fouls
  25. I'm pretty sure I'm going Wednesday night. My first game in a long time
