  2. a little bit of tension developing between Melo and the Knicks already. If anything, THAT will be the thing that puts D'Antoni's job in jeopardy

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 21, 2011 -> 08:13 AM) I know we are way past this in reality, but I just finished the DVDs, but the end of season 4 in Dexter was well done. I keep having a problem with how realistic is that no one gets to him, so it was nice to see it finally happen. LOL, well then you will hate season 5

QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 21, 2011 -> 02:25 AM) Shameless was really good tonight, though there seem to be way too many loose ends to tie up in next week's finale. I didn't think they would keep Karen's angst going like this, though I'm glad they have because it'll make her a more important character. I don't see Steve going away after this season, there's too much chemistry between him and Fiona. I think Tony is in way over head, and he has no idea. I'm curious about the "job" that that new girl (can't remember her name, the blond who kissed Fiona a few times) has for Fiona, clearly it's something shady. I also liked that her husband is played by the same guy that plays Moose on Chicago Code. Also, Jeremy Ratchford (Cold Case) was in scenes for next week, solid. Amy Smart. Im 99 percent sure she is a call girl and her husband is a pimp And yes, this weeks episode was really great. I loved the part where William H Macy played the part of his own brother, that was hilarious. And his mom? When she said the p***y was great, and she could get blow any time in jail I was lmao
  5. did Neshek end up throwing the ball with a somewhat normal throwing motion after he had reconstructive surgery?
  6. hopefully he can relax and just play now
  7. Bones destroyed Shoguns face with that spinning elbow, dear god
  8. Go out to Ruth's Criss and have a big ste......nevermind Happy Birthday BS!
  9. If the Lakers convince the Magic to take Bynum and his 50 year old knees for Howard, I will be very disappointed in the Magic. Everyone keeps throwing around "If healthy" with Bynum. Thats the thing, the kid is never healthy. He has missed significant time with injuries to both knees in each of the past 4 seasons.
  10. isnt the (hopeful) plan to have Mitchell replace Pierre?
  11. That was one of the more horrific ref jobs i have seen in quite some time, when Hansbrough "stripped" Rose after they trapped him early in OT, Hansbrough should have fouled out at that moment. Plus, when the bulls were down two, and Rose drove to the lane and had 3 attempts underneath he was just getting mauled. And the rest of the team should be apologizing to Rose for their lackluster effort down the stretch, especially Korver and Bogans. Korver passed up multiple wide open three point looks, and that stretch in the 3rd quarter where Bogans missed a wide open 3(big surprise), had 2 consecutive turnovers and a technical made it almost impossible to come back in regulation.
  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ Mar 17, 2011 -> 08:43 PM) Dwyane Wade's dunk vs. OKC last night: Travel? Check. Celebrate while behind? Check. Actually lost the game? Check. Still the 3 seed? Check. dont forget "get T-ed up by the Refs while the Thunder run the other way and drain a 3. Check"
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 17, 2011 -> 09:03 AM) This just goes to show how bad "The Decision" was for Lebron that folks think about that more than Wade's family crap. I dislike Lebron the player, but the person I've always found enjoyable... that is until "The Decision" and his acting like a supreme douche ever since. However, Wade's stock has taken more of a hit with the family stuff. (in my mind) i will always wonder what the reaction to Lebron would have been if he would have said "im taking my talents to New York" or "Im taking my talents to Chicago" or "Im taking my talents to NJ" or "im taking my talents to LAC" Would people nationally still think he was a supreme douche? Is the reaction because he chose to be Robin instead of Batman? Is it just the entire process? Would we all be sitting here saying "The Decision was awesome, I loved watching him punk out Cleveland like that" or would we be saying "man, that was cold. I like him a little less right now."?

QUOTE (MuckFinnesota @ Mar 16, 2011 -> 01:10 PM) Okay, but for someone who finished his undergraduate degree at a school that didn't have PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) and was a small private liberal arts college, contacts were limited. I'm thinking of the only way to get into an organization that is close to where I want to work/be is at DePaul, where they have the Master's in Public Relations degree. Otherwise I am not sure of what organizations to join since all I did in school was work for a radio station and newspaper for the first two years and then the sports information department at my institution. This isn't exactly applicable to what I want to do in the business world (PR), so I am going to have to find the limited paid internships out there. Good lord man, all you ever see and talk about is what you DONT have and CANNOT get. People who want it, get it. End of story. Sometimes you gotta muck around in the s*** before you sit in first class. no pun intended. Just because a door is closed doesnt mean you cannot open it.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 15, 2011 -> 06:32 PM) Yeah, Sunday's Shameless had me laughing during the entire thing. I'm also curious where Lip working for Steve is going to go, that could turn into a big plot point rather easily. And was Kash even in the last episode? He was mentioned a bunch but I don't think he was in it at all. Also, no mention at all of Alderman Gibbons in The Chicago Code this week. With what was happening with Liam/Monica/the Gallaghers, and also with Karen and Sheila, Kash really didnt have anywhere to fall in.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 15, 2011 -> 02:32 PM) Thought they would drag the Monica/Mom angle on Shameless out to the season finale. I love the show but they go through some strorylines rather quick. I think you are wrong to think that angle is over. I think it has only just begun, it is obvious that Frank and Monica still have feelings for each other. I was cracking up when Frank found out that his son was the result of Monicas affair with his brother, but he was only mad that she did PCP without him
  17. Whatever Brian, you will retire from watching WWE and then start talking about how TNA really interests you a few months later. Dixie Carter always gets the WWE washouts
  18. So does anyone believe Fedor fights under the UFC banner? Or does his SF contract expire and he goes his own way?
  19. WTF, no discussion of Zuffa/UFC buying Strikeforce? http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/news/story?id=6209923
  20. I only quoted a part of the story too, there are a few more Naimoli stories that are mindblowing
