I’m not surprised at all. His magic comes from the chaos in the break down of a play. You put him in the backfield or line him up as a Wr it’s not the same as him dropping back and taking off because the DBs have their backs to him and the DL has overcommitted. At that point he is running in a structure and is expected to hit a hole or run a route and that open field magic is much more dependent on the success of blockers or the route running.

1. Issue your grade and don’t worry about what others grade him. It’s not difficult, lay out your reasoning and that’s that 2. this is not our “standard of excellence”. This is our grades after this season. 3. It’s not a comparison. He was just pointing out that there are more Bs than Fs.

It means he was terrible. Multiple false starts and a huge drop on the 7 yard line where he could have scored. He also had a drop on the sideline when Caleb threw him a ball that only he could catch, and it was tough but it hit his hands

When Braxton Jones was benched and Benedet switched to LT and Trapilo came in to play RT, it seemed like the line finally could slow down Crosby enough to give Caleb reasonable time to throw
