I will definitely be bummed if they fade out this season. I won’t be mad at them because all of this has been a really fun season and very pleasantly surprising. If they made the playoffs and got bounced right away I would be happy they made the playoffs. The trade deadline wasn’t a needle mover so far so the offseason would be interesting, if it happens

I have definitely heard that when you are in a slump try to go opposite field more because you see the ball longer. I don’t know that it works for everyone because if you aren’t a natural opposite field hitter, or at least practiced, you can’t just start hitting opposite field and fix your swing. If Colson doesn’t ever practice that even in the cage and instead has opted to mostly sell out to right field, I could see why he isn’t trying it. You can see even when he has those hits to left center field it’s like he is sawed off trying to hit to center and he is so strong those hits land, but it’s not like Big Frank who used to hit oppo with authority. Can’t think of many times Colson hit it hard opposite field

It just really sucks for Aggrest to say all those things about Mully after he gets fired. I can’t really recall Jeff saying much about his distaste before he got axed, and that anecdote about him talking to haugh and being cool with him after criticizing him was like couching it, see it’s ok it’s professional in the way I called his work “revolting”
