Re-Imagined
Obi Wan Kenobi http://bp3.blogger.com/_fYpsA3iAQDU/Rgoiz4...00-h/ObiWan.jpg Jabba The Hut http://bp1.blogger.com/_fYpsA3iAQDU/Rf-N-s...abbaDesktop.jpg QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 09:58 AM) Indeed, those are quite nice. However, nothing compares to the brilliance of Steve Odekerk as far as the re-imagined Star Wars Universe is concerned. See, i knew you would have something great to add. Now, if we could only get Dave to wander over and add some of his drawings.....

Re-Imagined
I didnt want to sidetrack the "Rate of Avatar" thread too much, so I thought I would post some of the SteamPunk Star Wars photos, as well as some other recently re-imagined comics and whatever else anyone wants to add. Im sure Flaxx has some cool stuff to add. Sometimes a new vision is good, these characters do need a fresh breath of air from time to time. There is also teh suck(Batman and Robin, anyone?). I figure there could be some good discussion from this The originator, Eric Poulton Darth Vader http://bp2.blogger.com/_fYpsA3iAQDU/Rf-N68...aderDesktop.jpg The Death Star http://bp0.blogger.com/_fYpsA3iAQDU/Rf-Nxc...starDesktop.jpg edit: My re-sizing is for sh*t. Im gonna post the links as well

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 08:59 AM) Hmm, just taking a wild guess here, but I think it might be some Star Wars fan art depicting Han and Chewie as they might have appeared had the SW saga taken place in Victorian London, ala' a Gotham by gaslight kind of thang. How'd I do? (Congrats, you made a Dave's longbox reader out of me a year or so ago). I knew it as soon as "The Pain" showed up They call it "SteamPunk Star Wars" Totally wierd, but it is very cool to a Star Wars dork like me

Official "Squared Circle" Thread
QUOTE(Brian @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 05:24 PM) As much as I like the guy, you are right. They could send him down to OVW like they did Paul Wight to get his attitude straight. The Big Show is off TV right now and in OVW because of an attitude problem? I thought he is on injury leave right now. And I was just reading on rajah.com that he is considering jumping to TNA as well(gag)

QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 10:32 AM) I find it funny, regardless of my political affiliation. For some wierd reason it makes me think of the STD-ridden Rabbit in "Meet the Feebles"

I dont know if you realize this, but this is a messageboard, not a blog.

Entourage
QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 09:35 AM) I thought she was calling Eric all day and they were avoiding her calls. Then they decided to call back late at night in hopes she wouldn't answer and they could just leave a message. She was still there so Eric hung up. you are 100 percent correct, I rewatched the episode and I was way off. I dont know what I was paying attention to.

QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 10:43 PM) The last two episodes were entertaining but nothing has really gotten accomplished. I was hoping we would have heard more about what move Vince is gonna do. I dont know, i think that Vince was trying to feel out his agent. He had Eric call her to see if she was working because she said she was out of the office all day, and Vince also mentioned that he wanted to make his decision on the movie she offered him while or after he was in Napa Valley with Eric. I think small things were happening, but Turtle and Drama stole the show. LOL, turtle prevented Happy Endings for drama.

I would rent out my condo for the entire games at a premium and stay the hell away from the city for sure. what, no green?

Possible Briggs Replacement?
While I would love the idea, isnt Wilson more of a MLB than an OLB? Wouldnt that play into it?

The Office
my favorite part of the show actually had two parts; 1) When Michael and Dwight tested the trampoline by throwing a watermelon from the roof. 2) the look on Stanleys face at the very end of the show when he sees a destroyed watermelon all over the top of his car.

I Hate Him!
QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 01:38 PM) That "Powder" guy outfielder for Texas that always kills us. I can think of a couple Texas outfielders that always killed us, and Rusty Greer always comes to mind first. That guy could have been in the middle of a 1 for 60 slump batting average below the mendoza line, and he would still have a huge series against the Sox

LOST! thread
QUOTE(bmags @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 10:08 AM) you guys think they put another baby in claire? Not really. They insinuated that something about the island itself made women reject their babies late in the pregnancy. They knew that Claire was pregnant so they injected her with the drugs that Juliet created as a test(as she referred to it, Claire was their control) to see if it would help her carry her child to term. I think whatever it was that they injected in her was starting to affect her, and it was an easy way for Juliet to be accepted into the group was for Juliet to save Claire. On a side note, its hard to believe Claire is the control if she was only on the island through the late stages of her pregnancy. If she was there throughout the entire time, she would be the control.

LOST! thread
I thought Juliet standing up to Sayid and Sawyer was pretty awesome though. She was right, they were pretty hypocritical, even though what she is up to seems pretty sinister/sneaky. I still think Juliet is going to be playing both sides for the patsy for quite some time, Im not sure Ben truly has her with his ideals.

Oh Imus...
While I think what he said was reprehensible, stupid, and racist, it has really gotten a lot crazier than I thought it would be. I expected lots of scorn and apologies and threats of action, but i am surprised. I honestly dont think Imus is racist, he just happened to say a racist thing. It might not make any sense, and it might not make it any better, but I dont think he is a hateful racist man.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 03:24 PM) Kielty seems not nearly as strong as he was about 3-4 years ago. I wonder why? The red fro saps his strength. It takes incredible muscle control to hold that thing up at all times. (not watching the game right now, so i dont even know if he still has the fro. )
