  1. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ May 10, 2007 -> 05:37 AM) But...but...but...he's a hoss! Are you not impressed with the rippling muscles and a lame ass sit out powerbomb? The students at my school are all pissed off that Edge won the belt from Taker. They hate all the heels. So, I keep promoting Vince. They also don't like that I am a huge Kennedy fan and an Edgehead. It is so much fun to make fun of Cena and Batista. It is truly an awful finishing move. Batista never completes the move and always ends up splayed out falling backwards

QUOTE(StrangeSox @ May 10, 2007 -> 12:35 AM) I don't see how much farther Charlie's character can go or how much more the whole Desmond seeing Charlie dieing can advance the plot. He's gone by the end of the season. Desmond tells charlie he is gonna die in this upcoming episode, but that doesnt mean that he isnt going to be revived. I still think Juliette is up to something and acting as the diversion. The other side of the tape with Bens recording is really fishy. It just seems canned and faked. QUOTE(thedoctor @ May 10, 2007 -> 07:00 AM) what the hell is up with that richard dude not aging? I thought the same thing. He looks younger than Ben, but he was at least 10 years older than Ben when he met him as a teenage boy.

Jacob just became interesting as well. I thought it was a show that Ben was putting on like Locke did, but Locke saw Jacob for a second and it freaked him out. I wonder if it is the spirit of one of the Dharma Initiative(maybe the guy whose eyes were closed by Ben?)

I refuse to believe Locke is done. The guy has beaten too many odds. Ben was a cold blooded MOFO. Its interesting that the Van driver was Bens dad.
  5. You know what is sad? Danks probably wont get to have a beer shower.
  6. MAcDougals velocity is down, something is up with him. He was throwing junk and lots of it.
  7. How could Castillos ugly swing be so successful?
  8. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 9, 2007 -> 09:06 PM) I guess it wasn't really "overpitching" but more of pitching when he shouldn't have. He was on the DL, came off, and pitched almost immediately after he came off. And hurt himself, bad, obviously. I think they should have shut him down until atleast September. Just my opinion. He should have been shut down for good, his elbow was done when he went down.
  9. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 9, 2007 -> 09:05 PM) Liriana was handled with kid gloves. They put him in the bullpen to start 2006 despite his readiness to dominate at the beginning of last season. Liriano had some injuries with the Giants, IIRC, and I thought I recall reading that his motion wasn't particularly 'clean'. Ha, similar post.
  10. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 9, 2007 -> 09:02 PM) A.K.A. Liriano. I dont know that Liriano was overpitched. He started in the bullpen, and they moved him to starter, he probably didnt have many innings on his arm when he went down. IIRC, his injury was due more to his pitching motion(ie. a loop in his delivery) that put a lot of stress on his elbow.
  11. What is Molina's career Minor League BA?
  12. That one is on the ump
  13. You know, that curveball looks good, but it really fools hitters more than I expected. Right handers just watch it drop in the zone, it looks like meat. And they just watch it. It must really be filthy to the hitters.
  14. Sorry Hawk, MacDougal wasnt the victim of bad luck last night. He got rocked.
  15. Sometimes the Ump calls the left side of the strikezone, sometimes he doesnt. He hasnt been consistent at all.
  16. I wonder if Gardenhire would have left Perkins in to face Sweeney or if he would have brought the tougher righty (Neshek) in to face Sweeney?
  17. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 9, 2007 -> 07:39 PM) Hmmm...thought it was close enough to give him a double. I guess Tyner was shading him down the line, same as Erstad in the first. Rabe, not Tyner. Rabe of the weak armed, four hopper to home clan.
  18. I dont know about you guys, but I am excited every time I see Sweeney in the lineup. I really think he is going to be something special, and it is gonna be a damn shame when(if?) Pods comes back to see his bat leave the lineup.
  19. QUOTE(Brian @ May 8, 2007 -> 10:41 AM) In the past month or so, it has been getting better, but now that their WHC is gonna be out for awhile and their biggest up and comer, things are being halted. The summer months are when I was always excited to be a wrestling fan as a kid. I hope they can keep the turn around going. And by going, I mean job Khali and release him. What, you arent intimidated when he raises his arms and goes "Raaaawr!"?
  20. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2007 @ May 8, 2007 -> 12:27 AM) Is it me or is Carlos Boozer turning into a superstar? He didn't shoot the ball well tonight. But he dominated the glass and came up a clutch offensive rebound that led to the game-winning score. Boozer was turning into a superstar in his last year in Cleveland. He has been injured a good portion of the time with Utah, now he is finally healthy again and showing what he can do.
  21. Is Freddy healthy? I saw the highlights of his golfcart mishap. The knot on his shin was UGLY.
  22. My money says Orton dominates Cena, Khali interferes and match is called on DQ edit: What a p*ss poor half a*sed ending
  23. Kennedys injury is serious, his MITB shot is over.
  24. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 7, 2007 -> 09:34 AM) Looked like his "old" (April/May 2006) swing to me....what's the difference? When I see BA going good with his swing (which really hasnt been very often), he drastically reduces the hitch in his swing. He holds his hands really low(at or below the numbers) when he is going bad, and when the ball leaves the pitchers hand he brings them up in a cocking action and unloads on the ball. Because of this unnecassary action in his swing, he is very susceptable to breaking balls of any kind, and moreso down and away breaking balls. Crede used to have this problem early in his ML career, and now he holds his hands up high, which gives him more time to wait on breaking balls if he is expecting a fastball. Right now BA has to be predicting the pitch almost 100 percent correct to have any success hitting it. Im no batting coach, but this is what I see as the problem in BA's swing. Feel free to tear it up or agree with it.
  25. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/05/07/spiderboy.ap/index.html Where is the vomit smiley when you need it? Just disgusting. Strange though, I cant imagine what would make not one, but two spiders want to live in your ear canal. Spiders usually like to set up camp near areas with lots of bug traffic(ie. near lights, in trees, underhangs, etc.) and it isnt as if there are tons of bugs passing by in your ear.
