  1. QUOTE(TLAK @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) In related news: rotoworld: Locker room photo: Dont forget the second half of the joke!
  2. Just out of curiosity, is the weather supposed to hold up today? When I watched the news last night, it looked like the storm system that hit here this morning was going to keep sweeping east.
  3. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 9, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) It's more of the deals that he hasn't made is what makes him a bad GM. What deals are those?
  4. For a year rental, or half a year, I would do it in a heartbeat. Torii is Kenny and Ozzies type of player, and he is already a gold glover. If Brian Anderson was asked for in exchange, then Torrrrriiii better be signed to a long term deal. But I would do it.
  5. Sweeney drilled: Oft-injured Mike Sweeney survived another scare on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. During the ninth inning, after Mariano Rivera got one out and gave up a single to Mark Grudzielanek, Sweeney was struck in his right hand by a pitch. Sweeney left the game and had the hand wrapped after the game, but X-rays were negative.
  6. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 03:25 PM) She's not a kid anymore. She's just s*** for brains. yeah I know how old she is. She has never had to deal with any sort of reality for her whole life and is pretty stupid for it, apparently. Or its just the white trash shining through
  7. This is what happens when kids have kids. They are f***ing morons. How does someone with her resources not go to the hospital .00000001 seconds after her baby falls out of a f***ing highchair. I hope the DCFS levies bigtiime charges at the Popozao's, this isnt the first time they have put Sean Preston into harms way.
  8. The Cubs are now losing 9-0, Will Ohman just gave up a grand slam to Edwin Encarnacion and a solo shot to Adam Kearns back to back. Then, Jacque Jones came off the field because of some non-apparent injury that he suffered while waiting for Michael Wuertz to warm up when he replaced Ohman. f***ing hilarious.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:47 AM) It's hard to tell on my laptop, the lights here in the lecture hall are incredibly bright and mess with the display. Damn, bright lights, broken Caps Lock keys, pot stirring. All the makings of a good day for Kalapse.
  10. This thread is starting to make my head hurt from laughter and confusion.
  11. You wouldnt report a person having sex with a minor because it was consensual? It isnt consensual unless the kid is over 18, until then it is statuatory rape and sexual assault of a minor. I am having a really hard time believing that you turned a blind eye to this guy because you felt that it was consensual.
  12. seven hundred and fifty dollars?!?!? WTF?!?!? Thats ree-damn-diculous. Who does she think she is, Madonna? Oh, wait.... And we all know there are people out there who will pay that money and think its a steal.
  13. WSFFL, please, understand this joke and stop dragging it on.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:22 AM) ^^^ This isn't about me. Dont say that Kal. You know its always about you. Just you and nothing but you. Despicable.
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:14 AM) FWIW- The highlight of Sundays game was Bobby Jenks dusting off Sweeney in the bottom of the 9th inning at about 97 mph. It should have been done a long time ago. You know, when that happened I thought Sweeney was hurt, and I still do. When he landed, he REALLY arched his back and the look on his face was "That was NOT good". He puts so much pressure and torque on his back when he swings, I think that if he actually did hurt himself in that AB it will come out sooner or later. Its really too bad, if Sweeney actually could have stayed healthy for his career then KCs fortunes throughout the latter half of the 90's could have been drastically different.
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:15 AM) You may be "busting on him", I however and giving out sound advice. This thread is on a crash course to SL&P
  17. QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:14 AM) No I right now I feel like I am calm but yet again I feel so stupid(!) How could I be such an IDIOT for not knowing my team's schedule that well(!) :banghead LMAO
  18. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:13 AM) Weak and unenthused it's almost as if you're whispering. I think all caps would solve that problem but hey that's just my opinion. lol, pot stirring
  19. QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:09 AM) When you read my posts how does it sound to you? Capitalization usually indicates excitement or yelling. indicates crying. So it seems like you are yelling and crying a lot.
  20. QUOTE(WinningUgly85 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 11:54 PM) Honestly, if the cubs by any chance make it to the world series and win, this town is totally going to put the Sox right back as the second cities ball club and forget about what we did. Every god damn cub fan is going to make it seem like our World Series never happend. I don't want that to happen. This is why we need to win this thing again. I would love to play the cubs in the World Series just like in 1906 and beat their asses just like what we did to the astros. This would end this s***ty feud proving once and for all that the Sox are #1. Wow, that is some serious optimism you have going on. You would think that the season is more than 6 games old. :headshake
  21. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 08:49 AM) Flavor Flav has been saying it for years now: "You better wake up and smell the real flavor Cause 911 is a fake life saver So get up, get, get get down 911 is a joke in yo town Get up, get, get, get down Late 911 wears the late crown Ow, ow 911 is a joke " Who ever thought that Flavor Flav lyrics could be used in a serious conversation about saving lives. After watching some of his VH1 moneymakers(I refuse to call them shows, that guy makes money off of VH1 shows and then blows it all and makes another one), it amazes me that a verse can actually be bouncing around in his brain.
  22. In semi-related news, Mark Turgeon accepted a contract extension at WSU that is supposed to get him close to 1 million per year.
  23. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 08:53 AM) LMAO.. What is it... pompous..? yep
