  1. Is that Black Jacks lesser known but equally tall brother
  2. That’s because the result was largely the same!!!
  3. No, say it right, it is “Thank God for the Rockies”
  4. It’s like The Sox are riding the leading edge of a stormfront that is changing the times or their last two games lol
  5. In what world is being in the bottom five in attendance “not a bad number”? Honestly all you do is excuse the bullshit and then continue to ask why they keep giving us bullshit
  6. @Tomas I do have to say, we hear you. We know how much you hate this team and org. I browsed your posts, and I can see you are very mad lol
  7. I have never agreed with anything you have said as much as this. If the (Thank God for the) Rockies didn’t happen to be on their way to shattering the Sox record last season I don’t think we would be patting ourselves on the backs for +3 in the win column from 24 to 25
  8. Lmao. Tray, be serious. Nobody gets their panties in a bunch about anything around here more than you. If we merely mention the numbers “78” then you get so upset you just wanna fight people Oh boy thank god for you and reinsdorf.
  9. He is just trying to tell everyone that he is a better fan than most. I, for one, am very impressed
  10. Thank god for the rockies
  11. It’s just a constant flow of stars in that org
  12. I think everything from the uprising to the final scene was the most compelling Star Wars writing in the history of the IP. It provided a true look into the realities of that universe past the glittery Jedi/Sith story, and it’s going to be very hard for Star Wars to reach that level again.
  13. Sorry Ant, but OKC is just too good right now
  14. Usually in One game every series they kick ass. Just a liiiiittle consistency and maybe they can be taking more series. This one was possible, they just couldn’t get the deal done in the other two games late. baltimore should be interesting. Feels like the Sox could go in there and take the series with how that team has played this season.
  15. I already said I wanted him to stay but the amount of complaining about this move, for a guy who hit a few home runs and THATS IT, is crazy. He will come back up and hopefully mash, but the guy has a problem with striking out and always has. Hopefully they get something out of him
  16. Greg this is dumb even from you. I gave basic stats. 5 hits in 31 at bats. 10 of those at bats ended in strikeouts. I didn’t cite those advance stats that confuse and frighten you.
  17. He wasn’t producing. They sent him down to get him going again to clearly bring him up again later when this roster churn is over, and all you have done is cry about it in every post like we sent down prime Frank Thomas. Elko will be back
  18. Look, I wasn’t even a fan of sending Elko down but you are being so silly about him. The dude hit .161. Yes he hit 3 home runs but he didn’t hit anything else for 31 at bats. 5 hits, 10 Ks, 1 walk. He was not good and even though I wanted him to stay, you need to realize he isn’t this bombing savior you think he is
  19. Don’t get in your feelings now because yet again you make a wild statement and someone says “that didn’t make sense” you absolutely changed the point, you said they hardly got much in return for the investment in Hendriks. In this very response you are like OK FINE LETS TALK ABOUT BUMMER KELLY ETC. man, YOU brought Hendriks up and YOU said he hardly provided a return. Not me or anyone else. Now you wanna act all mad when I say that’s BS he provided all star level production for two seasons before cancer, and you immediately change to a dollar per WAR.
  20. You turned this into a dollar per WAR argument because your argument sucked so bad man. This s%*# is so tired with you. Sitting here trying to argue that Hendriks was a bad investment because he got cancer in the final year of his contract and wasn’t able to pitch is right on par with trying to start s%*# with Balta about Clevinger last week. don’t tell me what the point was. All you do is change yours
  21. Not Caulfield moving the goalposts again, I can’t believe it
  22. Man this s%*# is ridiculous to even argue with you because this is so normal, but before he was so inconvenienced by Cancer as to ruin the investment of the third year, he was coming off 2 seasons where he saved 75 games with an ERA of 2.6 and was an all star both seasons. I would say up until his extremely unfortunate diagnosis, he was worth every penny
