  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 22, 2014 -> 08:44 AM) The secondary is incredibly undisciplined. I see them trying several concepts and none of them seem to work because they dont train a certain way. It's like watching a bottom of the barrel college defense at times. The defense is vanilla to the point it is completely predictable. A few games ago the announcers were surprised to see stunts on the line because the previous game they had not seen any of them. Pretty much every announcer has displayed surprise that the Bears play the CBs so far off the line and allow the 10-15 yard medium plays so consistently. It is simply a terrible defense, and the college comparison is not bad at all
  2. QUOTE (Boogua @ Dec 22, 2014 -> 08:52 AM) How do you know they would've had "a lot" more points? McCown had a lot of success in between the 20s, but had some issues in the red zone. Yesterday the Bears were stopped at the goal line also. We have no idea how many points they should or would have scored. If not for the muffed punt and the roughing the kicker they could have gotten shut out. The Lions also turned the ball over twice in the red zone. You can argue what ifs all day long, but they definitely work both ways yesterday

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 22, 2014 -> 08:49 AM) You must have a secret crush on Megan Fox back from the original Transformers movie...that would seem to be the only compelling reason to watch. um, ok QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 22, 2014 -> 08:52 AM) I watched the Turtles movie this weekend because I felt like I had to despite the awful reviews. I actually thought there were some legit funny scenes but overall it was pretty awful. yea, i wont argue. It had a lot of bad. The fight between Splinter and Shredder was pretty cool though, i actually appreciated that part.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 22, 2014 -> 08:27 AM) Absolutely, but more importantly to me the coaching staff has proven this season they are clueless, especially on defense. If we got yesterday's performance out of the D all year we wouldnt be in the shape we are right now. You mean its good to not start your cornerbacks 10 yards back from the line and actually allow them to press a receiver???? I dont understand this confusing world you live in, Rock

Loved everything about Guardians of the Galaxy. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was weird, it had actual moments where it was watchable and had some good nods to the 90s movie and show. And then it had moments where I should have turned it off
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 21, 2014 -> 06:14 PM) No one saw greatness out of Clausen. Aikman and Buck did
  7. Riaola is such a piece of s***
  8. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 21, 2014 -> 12:18 PM) Good luck. I hope you guys win. No matter what, an MVFC team wins, that's pretty cool
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 21, 2014 -> 12:18 PM) You never know. Maybe the email got filtered to spam. NK could have intercepted it for more leverage against "The Interview"
  10. The winning team has to know they won, doesnt the window to sign a player start when the bid is accepted?

I need proof it was my fault.

  13. Seems unnecessary for the Cubs
  14. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Dec 20, 2014 -> 02:15 PM) For $5 million, I hope the Sox got him. Worst case scenario is that he becomes a Tsuyoshi Nishioka type of player, the best case scenario is that he becomes like Iguchi. It's worth a shot. I hope best case is better than Iguchi. Because that's kind of a low bar
  15. 5M is such a relatively small commitment, I hope it was the Sox
  16. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Dec 20, 2014 -> 12:06 PM) How did Jimmy get so good with his offense in an offseason? Must be steroids
  17. Really nice road win. Niko and Butler were just beasts
  18. Niko is on f***ing fire
  19. Phillips is a bean counter, and very good at that. The Bears need his equal for the football side, and I think the McCaskeys know that now.
  20. QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 19, 2014 -> 05:12 PM) Why wouldnt that source have just reported it themselves instead of letting that douche break it? Have you seen his billboards? My God I hate him so much and I have never listened. Hard to miss the billboards. The source could be someone within the org, who knows. I mean, we could say he has nobody but s***, some teenager in Canada broke the Trestman hire because he was friends with Trestmans daughters. Who knows who is K0nas source? I'm sure Eric knows a lot more people plugged in than we would expect
  21. Eric actually does appearances on Sports Talk Live and hobnobs with a lot of sports figures in Chicago. I'm not saying that he is correct, but he certainly could have a valid source that fed him this info
  22. Jason told me to move all of these NFL catch all posts from this NCAA catch all to the other catch all because he likes catch alls so much. So, look in the other catch all
  23. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Dec 19, 2014 -> 01:16 PM) I know the Bears are bad, but are they so bad that they've been demoted to college football? Jimmy Clausen is the QB this week. So, yes.
  24. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 19, 2014 -> 11:33 AM) Shea has been a disaster. I think Bostic less so. He isn't going to work, but he did show a lot of potential early. Chalk that up to "just didn't develop as we thought." I'd have to look and see what other LB's were picked around him and how they're doing. At least he was drafting the right need. 2 picks later Jamie Collins (Patriots), 6 picks later Arthur Brown (Ravens), 16 picks later Sio Moore(Oakland) And lets not ever forget who the Patriots drafted after the Bears took Shae, Chandler Jones
