Toub was the same situation as Marinelli, both of them felt it would be awkward staying with Trestman after Lovie got fired so the Bears allowed them to move in if they wanted to/had offers.

If it is true, it will be an interesting thing to watch. This isn't a nobody, this is one of(if not the) best QBs in the league. This isn't a Jason Collins 12th man on the bench
