  1. I like Phil Rogers picks a lot. Even though it will be hard to match, I like it. And yes... Excellent!
  2. If he started drinking, he would probably saying that about the state of Florida ! Poor Tampa Bay and Florida !
  3. Well, I hope that the AL Central is competitve this year with more teams than just the White Sox and the Twinkies. If we have a 3-4 team race for the top of the division, that will make us winning it look a lot better.
  4. Not only that, but the standing in the Cacti League are pretty scary. The #1 through #4 teams are all part of the AL Central. In order it goes: Kansas City, Cleveland, Minnesota, and Chicago. Everyone in the division except for Detroit. So, to all you f***s who think the AL Central is an easy league :fyou !
  5. The numbers do look good and I will agree. If the everyday players, like Lee, Rownad, and Jimenez, that do not have a big stature like Ordonez or Thomas do well this season, that will be a big factor in the White Sox making it to the wonderous month of October.
  6. I bet you a good 3/5 of the writers at SI are completely biast.
  7. If that's the case, don't leave out Todd Ritchie. Yeah. Wow, was he one of the biggest dissapointments ever or what?
  8. Alright, now this would upset a Sox fan. Im the latest issue of Sport's Illustrated, the writers completely underestimate the Chicago White Sox. For one, the Sox are ranked 7th in the American League, and 15 in the MLB. On top of that, the White Sox are behind the Scrubs.!They say the Blue Jay's will be right behind us in the standings, which I think is ubsurd because the 2003 Jays don't compare to the 2003 Sox! Also, they have Jon Garland ranked behind, yes behind, such pitchers as Darren Dreifort and pitchers that have not even proven themselves to be a starter, such as Danny Graves. I don't know about anyone else, but I think this is an insult to the Chicago White Sox organization and all of its fans.
  9. We have 7 starters this year. We have Buerhle, Colon, Garland, Wright, Loaiza, Rauch, and Stewart. We will have one in AAA at the start of the season (most likely Rauch), and then once Wright gets healthy again, we will have 2 in Charolette. No need in my mind.
  10. We bet every year to win the division, to win the AL, and to win the series. Something to look forward to Don't we all.
  11. If someone has not already posted this today, March 27th, Danny Wright was placed on the 15-day disabled list.
  12. There is no need to sign Renyolds since we will have one starting pithcer starting the season in AAA. On top of that, we have Wright coming back soon (hopefully), and then that will send another starter to Charolette. I like Renyolds, but the Sox have no need to sign him now.
  13. I went to WrestleMania XII in Anaheim at the Pond, but that was way back in 1996. After that, I "discovered" ECW, and couldn't stand any other fed after that. I went to Heat Wave 2000 at the Grand Olympic Auditorium, and that was the last live show I attended, and probably my last ever. Not because it wasn't fun, because I had a great time -- I just am not into wrestling anymore now that ECW is defunct. I went to WWF Backlash here in Chicago in May of 2000. It was a pretty fun time. Not really into wrestling that much anymore, but I catch a match evey once in a while.
  14. Hey, no one here cares. We can't get enough about hearing about our future Hall of Fame closer !!!
  15. You'd be sent to prison in no time if you did that to a poor, helpless child!
  16. With Borchard ready to pounce on the first open spot in the outfield, Rowand really needs to step up this year. If his injury is really bugging him this year, Borchard will take his spot in no time. Rowand needs to get the AB's in and really prove himself as a great asset to the White Sox, or Borchard will.
  17. Couldn't agree with you more. I would say Miles over Burke though. We could keep Burke and Paul in the minors and call either of them up when we need them.
  18. It looks that way, the only question is can the management brain trust keep it together. That's the kind of outfield every team dreams about. You can't go wrong with that threat of both an offensive juggernaut and a defensive gem.
  19. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Mark, Happy Birthday to you!! Sorry it is a little late, I was away on Spring Break !
  20. If Danny need this surgery, he should get it ASAP. I would not like to see his career ended like that. As tough as the guy may be, playing through the pain is not always the best thing to do. If his inflamed elbow won't go away, I say miss a year, get the surgery, and come back next year with a good arm and be a healthy Chicago White Sox pitcher.
