  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 12, 2011 -> 09:31 AM) His WAR is now -1.1. He is definitively and officially baseball's worst player, and he leads off for your Chicago White Sox. Is management asleep at the wheel? Why is he being trotted out there every night?
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 12, 2011 -> 08:40 AM) Dude had a fluke stretch, and now you are going to project that as the norm, and use that to endorse a guy you have never seen play LF? Uh, ok. This hasn't been a few days or a week. It's been well over a month now. He cannot be trusted out there anymore.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 12, 2011 -> 08:35 AM) Do you think he is? At least one of the bonehead turnovers yesterday was on him, IIRC. You're opinion on him is based on one play? I've seen Derrick Rose make lots of boneheaded turnovers.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 12, 2011 -> 07:50 AM) As long as Juan Pierre is on this roster The question is, why the f*** is he still on this roster? Anyone with half a brain would tell you he needs to go. Who the hell is in charge?!?
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 12, 2011 -> 08:29 AM) Bush said he didn't spend much time on him, and the CIA supposedly closed down its Bin Laden group at the height of the Iraq war Why waste time and resources on a specific Bin Laden group of the CIA when their highly successful torture program could get the info they needed in 10 to 15 years?
  6. What exactly does Kenny see in Pierre? He does make the personnel decisions, right?
  7. They have to be the favorites to win It all.
  8. Lebron with 54 points in the last minute and a half.
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 11, 2011 -> 04:46 PM) We have the exact opposite of accountability. You play terribly, your job is safe. You play well, well...we might just drop you for a laugh. If you coach a team to mediocrity for years, you get signed to an extension and your option year is picked up so that you don't complain to the press about it. And if you're a terrible former Royal that cannot field for s***, we will extend you over your market value.
  10. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 11, 2011 -> 04:11 PM) Tallest midget contest. Miller, Bud and Coors products = sex in a canoe. Give me a real beer.
  11. This really deserves no more reasoning from the Left. I mean if every miniscule thing like this or the First Lady's pet project (healthy food options for children) can be turned into controversy then why even bother attempting a rational, mature conversation with these out-of-touch people. It's no wonder so many are turned off by politics.
  12. The manufactured outrage over all of this is laughable.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 11, 2011 -> 03:31 PM) Go to their profile by clicking on their name. In the LH column, there is a pulldown menu starting on "Options" (just below ratings). Ignore this user is an option in that list. You can't ignore an admin, I believe. I think you're a robot. You take everything so literally.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 11, 2011 -> 03:10 PM) then let's also start Free Blowjob Wednesdays* on the main concourse. *sponsored by Bigsqwert
  15. I'd imagine the Heat may even be favorites (In Vegas) in the next round even without home court advantage.
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 11, 2011 -> 02:40 PM) Same reason we lose in Oakland usually. We've only won 6 of our last 30 against Minnesota. It's this reason alone that Guillen needs to go. Could you imagine having a Bears coach that continually lost to the Packers every single year?
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 11, 2011 -> 02:38 PM) Heh. Translated: If you take away all of their losses, they're a great team!
  18. My goodness the Twins are awful. How the f*** did we lose to them again?
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 11, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) When he was with the Sox, Black Jack also regularly had the best run support in MLB. The Sox bats always came out for Black Jack. Good ol' Black Jack. Didn't he pitch a game against the Brewers where he gave up a solo shot to the 1st batter and then retire the next 27 straight? Or was it just a no-hitter after the 1st batter? EDIT: It's the latter.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 11, 2011 -> 01:39 PM) Ozzy Osbourne dined at the White House in 2002. Russell Simmons's Def Poetry Jam also visited the White House under the previous occupant. George Bush was a satanist!
  21. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 11, 2011 -> 09:03 AM) Partly. My dad doesn't follow sports Reminds me of my story. Back when I was a kid I had to self teach myself about American sports. In 3rd grade I started watching the Sox and the Oakland Raiders. Both teams were on TV a lot. The year? 1983.
