Male Contraception Pill
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 12:15 PM) Controlling sperm production without effecting testosterone levels AND avoiding 'unwanted' side effects? My ass. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking these even if were deemed completely safe. that's kind of funny, yet I'm sure you, like most of us, enjoy the fact that your woman takes birth control pills that have documented side effects...

Duh: Buehrle, Dye, Iguchi will be back
shocking
-
I'm a big Buehrle fan but this is obnoxious
I'm unsure, but him in a Cardinals hat has to be against some rule... f*** that, he's losing my love with this bulls***.

Riddle me this...
you gys are way off. obviously the scissors had peanut butter on them, but the victim, who was allergic to peanut butter, actually licked the peanut butter completely off, and as his/her esophogial wall began to close, the scissors were dropped and the victim flung backward on the bed and died. DUH

Mets looking to deal Milledge/Heilman?
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 24, 2006 -> 04:58 PM) Here's the question I have for folks here: how comfortable are we with a quasi-rookie leadoff hitter/LF next year? (Stick Milledge next to Anderson and suddenly we have a great defensive outfield, with potentially a ton of speed and good power in LF) isn't one of the knocks on milledge his defense? I could be wrong.

Fantasy Hockey League
hey guys, last last night i decided to set up a hockey league at yahoo. I would like many of the regulars here to join, as I think it would be good times. I am going to leave it as "private" until about 5 this afternoon, bc I want it to fill up by the 10pm draft. The draft is live online, but you can obviously pre-rank your players. Yahoo! Fantasy Hockey League ID: 90866 Password: hockey

The Departed
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 10:26 PM) Although I question how sincere you were in your belief that the Sox were going to be contenders if you thought scheduling a wedding in the middle of October was a safe bet. haha, trust me, it was scheduled quite some time ago, and that thought entered my mind... though my fiance' is all about the white sox as well, and she would have put up with going out and watching the game, at least one of them, while we were in maui. it was something i was "worried" about, but i sure wish i had to deal with it. it's going to be hard enough missing the bears game on sunday night, though it should be over relatively early anyway!

A-Rod, what's the asking price
QUOTE(sircaffey @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 09:21 PM) Zimmerman's a rookie who put up similar if not better stats than Crede...in RFK. Zimmerman should win the GG in the NL for sure. If not this year, he will have many when his career is over. actually, the one knock on Ryan Zimmerman is his putrid defense. He had issues in his only minor league season as well as issues this year in the majors. he's a loooong way from the gold glove. just look at his .965 fielding percentage this season, compare that to .978...

A-Rod, what's the asking price
QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 01:22 PM) Personally, I'd rather have Jeter if we are going to trade with the Yankees. He will do whatever it takes to win, yes, you lose a lot defensively from Uribe, but you pick up about 70 points in batting average and about the same in baseball IQ. Discuss. The Yankees will never trade Derek Jeter. End of discussion.

A-Rod, what's the asking price
QUOTE(Soxfest @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 01:14 PM) KW needs to see what it would take, I put A-Rod at SS and think he would be a great addition and Sox have talent to get a deal done this winter! it would be awesome, but i think the yanks would deal his ass to the NL.

Brian Anderson
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 5, 2006 -> 12:24 PM) Because I think a lot of people believe that Rowand was a lot better than BA, which to me just isn't the case. I love A Row and all, but I think BA has the potential to be a much better player. it isnt the case.... BA is the better talent than Rowand.

Brian Anderson
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 5, 2006 -> 09:41 AM) If Dontrelle was involved you would have to listen. sorry, i for one think that dontrelle would be worthless the second time around the american league... though he did have a mid-2's era against the likes of baltimore, tampa bay, boston, and the yanks last season... i just dont see it lasting. however, if they wanted to take freddy or jose off our hands as well, which i doubt. id prefer to keep the dream alive with BA

Brian Anderson
there is zero reason to trade Brian Anderson... a guy who batted .257 with excellent range and defense post-All star break and would have done even better if Ozzie would have actually played him daily...
