QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Aug 3, 2011 -> 11:22 PM) I like character of Gus, but I also want him to get his and I'm sure he will. I'd have to say that Mike is my favorite character. I finally got around to watching this week's "Breaking Bad", and it was really, really good. I liked that we got back to the kleptomania storyline with Hank's wife. I do feel bad for the car wash owner, but whatever. Jessie clearly can NEVER be alone, though I don't know that we have evidence of his abusing drugs. He was smoking a cigarette, sure, but being around it doesn't mean he's doing it. He's turned his home into a crack house so he'll never have to face his demons... instead he can make cracked out lunatics dance for cash to keep his mind at ease. We've gotten through 3 basically set up episodes, and now we're ready to take off... I can't wait!

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 3, 2011 -> 11:00 PM) That's the 2nd time it seemed like MTV rigged a Jungle. No other Jungle had been repeated, then you put the two smallest chicks vs the Amazonian girl...what did you think would happen? Hope Argentina is as entertaining as the previews make it. P.S. Jen has some very big breasts *Jenn... she is, however, nasty. That Jungle was a f***ing joke. There was no reason to even watch it. Laurel with her mustache looked like an NFL linebacker out there. It's too bad, as I really enjoy those two rookies. Even Cara Maria can't save my hatred of Laurel. I cannot wait to watch CT f***ing annihilate everyone next week in that crazy game.
  3. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 4, 2011 -> 08:09 AM) Trent Dilfer is much worse. And I can't stand Tebow or James so I digress with Hodge's comments. I enjoyed listening to Trent Dilfer a couple weeks ago say on Mike & Mike that no team can win the Super Bowl with a bad quarterback, even though the Ravens won the Super Bowl with... Trent Dilfer. What a tool.
  4. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Aug 3, 2011 -> 03:37 PM) I love seeing so many people FINALLY echoing the things I've been saying for a while. I know we've agreed for a while, but it's just about the same thing I've said over the last two months. Yeah, you, j4l, and myself were ridiculed and vilified for seeing the forest through the trees quite a long time ago.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 3, 2011 -> 01:16 PM) Says the guy with a blog about comic book movies... I don't recall saying I wasn't a nerd. I just wish you guys were talking Wars and not Trek!
  6. QUOTE (Carlo Paz @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 10:43 PM) Whether or not the poster actually IS Mark Teahen's wife, I thought the consensus based on the available photographs was that Mrs. Teahen was generally considered a pretty hot babe. edit: Yep...hot babe http://laurelaustin.files.wordpress.com/20...16-dsc_4523.jpg Yup, she's pretty adorable. I don't think anyone at Soxtalk felt differently?
  7. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Aug 3, 2011 -> 12:26 PM) Trying a little reverse psychology? OZZIE GUILLEN FOR LIFETIME CONTRACT.
  8. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Jul 29, 2011 -> 10:12 AM) Anybody know of a good app to listen to AM 670 or AM 1000? A Online Radio It's awesome. It's free.
  9. NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FIRE GREG WALKER.
  10. $5.9? Yeesh. He has to continue producing at elite levels past his prime for it to be a good deal.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 08:17 PM) 5.5 back after tonight is looking very possible. This is definitely a nightmare an expected scenario.
  12. ESPNChiSox Doug Padilla Weather approaching so game will be delayed even though it's not yet raining here. More will be decided at 7:45.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 06:54 PM) Looks like a pretty inevitable rain delay during this one. Tweets hint that the starters aren't even warming up... expect a delayed start and then clear skies.
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 04:41 PM) Konerko likely to miss tomorrow as well. I found it funny that Stone Pony, while watching a slow-motion replay of that bean ball hitting the bone next to Konerko's knee, plainly stated that the ball missed the bone next to Konerko's knee.
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) Guess who's in the starting lineup again! It's our favorite guy, Rios!!! F*ck Ozzie Guillen. Zero accountability despite being given permission from your boss to bench his big money player.
  16. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 12:55 PM)
  17. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 12:52 PM) If the viewpoint of the average fan is anything like it is on Soxtalk, there will be big changes this offseason. It clearly is, as attendance is absolutely woeful despite being somewhat close to the division lead.
  18. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 12:41 PM) Where was Desmond this past year? Or was he still on the Bears. I don't really remember him being cut. He was on the Bears and inactive most of the season. His contract ended and it was assumed that since he obviously went unused all last season that he would be gone. The Bears are rather weird.
  19. I don't understand why the world needs a Total Recall remake. The original is still perfectly awesome in every f***ing way.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Aug 2, 2011 -> 11:08 AM) Anyone watch the new Thundercats? I loved the original. I was less than 10 years old. I am no longer less than 10 years old. I will not watch new Thundercats.
  21. The Bears are wrapping up a deal with... Desmond Clark.
