  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 10:47 PM) I really wish Rex Ryan was the coach of the Bears. I really wish you were in charge of hiring coaches for the Bears.
  2. Of COURSE I'll be there. Heading there straight from Lake House weekend in Lake Delton with a bunch of friends, and have a fantasy draft following. My head might explode from this weekend's awesomeness.
  3. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 02:45 PM) Coop needs to fix the pen. Dr. Coop?
  4. QUOTE (Frank_Thomas35 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 03:06 PM) Steve where did you hear the cards? The Score
  5. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 02:03 PM) It happens. As tough as it will be, just gotta get over it and move on. Better than wondering all the time and trying to hide your chubby.
  6. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) The White Sox. They need a DH who can also go to the mound in late innings and give up less than 3 runs. Holleeeee sheeeeet the Manny as pitcher joke is already playyyyyyyyyyed out.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 02:36 PM) Basically NL teams. The Sox are the AL team with the worst record of any that are still in the race. Someone like Detroit might just to spite us, but $4 million is a lot of money for spite. No one in the West will. Toronto won't. I can potentially still see the Giants or the Braves rolling the dice on him. He can't possibly be worse than Jose Guillen for the Giants, for example. Yeah, as public as the White Sox interest has been, I'd be surprised to see Manny clear NL waivers.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 11:40 AM) when is the last time thornton pitched? Thome? or vs the Royals? He can be retroactively DLed and be ready in a few days, right? 8/17 was his last appearance.
  9. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 10:36 AM) Manny's motivation is a nice DH deal for next year.....oh and possibly facing the Yanks this weekend and Red Sox 7 times may be incentive enough..along with a playoff run. He also mashes at the Cell. If Rios is hurting, this is a no brainer. I don't see how that could be possible. Has he even hit waivers yet?
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 08:38 AM) That's a team that could be posed for a major dropoff this season. Tough year last year, lots and lots of locker room issues. Agreed. We can't really expect Brett to perform at the level he did last season, especially with his top two receiving targets likely out.
  11. The great Oney Guillen is tweeting his fool head off. I believe "you" is talking to KW.
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 10:12 PM) I'm just relieved more than anything right now. Yeesh. Interesting choice of words.
  13. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 10:39 PM) How about our guy who stepped in for Hudson after he got dealt? Torres? Not awful.
  14. QUOTE (southsidepride15 @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 10:13 PM) Becks just said it in the postgame...we need the fans to be out there and support the team for these last 21 home games. One month to go b#$%es!! Picked up a few sets tonight.
  15. I really hate that we entered the season with Kotsay as our DH to begin with... I'm very frustrated that we have to pray that Manny's injured, old ass can clear waivers and the Tigers won't block just to hate for our season to be saved.
  16. The Unstoppa-O's roll into Chicago. I can't wait for 3 straight 1-run losses.
